At the age of 14, she still cries for her mom
Not when something bad goes wrong,
Not when she needs a shoulder to cry on'
But when she needs the strength
At the age of 14, she sill wants to call her mom "Mommy"
Her mom is one of her closest friends
Her mom is someone who understands her
Her mom is her role model
Determined to finish college, no matter her age
Quit smoking after so many years of it,
She's gotten so far from what she's been through...
Also raising two children while being stay at home... Isn't too easy.
All her life this 14 year old's mom has fought...
She's fought to be strong.
But disease gets in the way.
Two conditions...
Both incurable.
At the age of 14 she's crying because she's afraid to loose her mom
At the age of 14 her scars are real
Her fear is real
Her loneliness is real
At the age of 14, she's praying harder than she would have thought
She's now wearing a pink bracelet and more pink than she'd like.
But she's doing it for her mom.
In support of her mom.
At the age of 14 her fears are real
She doesn't think her brother understands
And her friends wouldn't get it either... Except one.. Who she doesn't talk to
She can't talk to her mom about it either... Because her mom doesn't want to think about it
At the age of 14 she's fearing the loss of her mom.
At the age of 14 cancer strikes her family.
At the age of 14 she's praying harder than she would have thought..
At the age of 14, the breast cancer ribbon, became a part of her life.
