Unfair Why are emotions so unfair? I always had the inkling suspicion that he thought of me that way. "Liked" me. I hate using that word, it seems so childish. That's the only one I have to describe it though. Why did he have to pick me? She's in love with him. She would marry him today if he asked. She's the sister of my heart and I want her to be so so happy. Why can't he just turn to her and forget all about a person who will never feel that way about him? Who could never feel that way about him while knowing the hurt it would cause. Emotions are unfair. They need some good, solid guidance to put them into their proper place.
