Today I awoke in a strange world. The last the i recall before i awoke was being sent out on an assassination mission to kill the lord of a feuding house. My task was simple, avoid conflict at all cost and hit my mark.
The village was empty as i entered from the forest just before the rice fields. I quickly made my way to the village houses that set just before the castle gate. Swiftly jumping from shadow to shadow, I made my way to the throne room emergency exit. As i slipped into the Lords quarters there where no guards in sight. I plunged my blade deep into his heart. Leaving the blade where it lies in the lords heart I hastily make my way through the long corridors to the castle gates.
Just past the gates I quickly come to the recollection as to why there were no guards on post. They were all waiting for me in the village. It was a set up, they wanted me to kill the lord then kill me so no one would know the truth. Following my orders i would not kill any of the villagers. Dodging the attacks left and right knocking out who ever dared to get close. It felt as if it was to easy, like they wanted me to get out of the village. I could see the forest just within my sight. I was there, at the home stretch. i knew if i could make it out of the rice field there was no chance to catch me.
Then I saw them waiting for me, a group of mercenary ninja and Samurai. I through every smoke pellet I had just to make it past them. Then it hit me, a kunai in the back. It must have been poison. The faster I tried to move, the slower my reaction seemed. Losing the ability to move and vision fading. I found shelter in a hollowed out tree; and when I awoke, I found myself in this strange world where things called The Animated stike fear into the hearts of many... ninja
