Listening to: Trollhammaren by Fintroll

Well, I would be listening to that song...if my iPod wasn't on the fritz. There some wierd thing going on with the screen, and it freezes whenever I turn it off. But enough complaining...

So, I'm carrying 19 units at Fullerton Community College. Two math classes, english, art, maring biology, and an environmental science trip. To be honest, it's not all that bad. I enjoy all of the classes except Trigonometry, especially biology. And I'm getting the chance to see a lot of my old friends from high school again. I miss Humboldt, but it's great back in SoCal.

This last week has been extremely hectic. Two fridays ago, my marine biology class and a few other students piled into a bus and traveled to Newport Beach, got a on a boat, and went searching for blue whales. As indicated by this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8vavvbLAN4 , we found one. Freakin awesome!

This last friday, I got in another bus with my church youth group, and we traveled to the Irvine Verizon Theater, and saw the best concert I've ever seen. Better than Wierd Al, better than Queen. It was Jars of Clay, Robert Randalph and the House Band, Switchfoot, and Third Day. All are Christian rock bands, and they are all awesome. They all played for free. Ticket prices went to a local environmental group. I must say, it was also freakin awesome.

Yesterday, I had the fortune to take my cousin and two friends to an Angel game. We sat in the City Council Suite, right behind and above home plate. They lost to the Rangers 8-4, but it was still fun. Today, however, I got to go to the last regular season Angel game. My cousin and I sat right behind the Angel dugout. It was hot, but worth it. The Angels got their 100th win of the season with a 7-0 shutout, also against the Rangers. But I wasn't done yet. I also went to the Mighty Ducks preseason game tonight. They ended up losing 5-4 after a overtime session and a shootout, but it was still an awesome game. There were three fights, blood drawn, and almost three hat tricks.

You know, I'm surprised that my hands haven't fallen off from clapping so much this entire weekend, nor has my voice failed from all of the yelling and singing (or both at the same time). Eh, maybe I just jinxed myself...

Until next time.
