I had just entered into Barton Town, the center of Gaia. It was my first time I've ever been here, and I was hoping Gaia was a nice place. As I was wandering around, I couldn't help but notice how many different places there were to go. Finally, I saw a store, The Barton Boutique, run by a man, I later found out to be Ian, a local of Barton Town, and his cat, Rufus. Rufus was a strange cat, for he barked instead of meowed! I had never seen that before. Perhaps I was in for a surprise of what this place was like? As I was talking to Ian, he mentioned many rumors about him around this land, and to ask him what, I could not resist. But he declined me time after time, refusing to tell. I pondered what could be so bad. I could not figure what it was, for it could be many things.
After I had left The Barton Boutique I noticed another building, that did not stand high at all, perhaps smaller than the building I had just parted from. It was much to crowded to see however, so I just passed it by, deciding to visit another day.
Compared to the previous buildings, this other one I could not help but notice seemed to be quite in contrast with them. It was large indeed, in a circular sort of way, as if it was a place where fierce battles were once held, as it looked from the seats and emptiness inside. However any emptiness that once may have inhabited was now anywhere but here, as people crowded round everywhere looking at glorious artwork of others! Some of the ones I saw seemed mysterious, while others seemed anything but.
But now, I found, as it was getting late, it was time to rest. After a long hour that seemed so much longer, I found a house, not to bad, that the only resident let me stay in! I must've thanked them, as they had to have been a pleasant person, or I would have not been allowed to stay.
