Dean woke and looked straight up at the ceiling. Something was strange. He looked down at himself. Hmm, moderatelly clean, not in his biking suit, and...D'an smelled his pillow and blanket. What was that unfamiliar smell? He didn't remember changing his body spray scent.
He sat up in bed and threw his legs over the side and looked around, brow furrowed as he buried the fingers of one hand into his long braid. Where was that smell from? "Oh!" Dean had just spotted a white tux shirt that was too small for him and smelled much too nice. That's right. It belonged to that boy he invited to stay with him. Leilani. 'That's right. It's all coming back to me...'
Dean stood and walked to his dresser to dig out this job's work uniform and headed to the bathroom, pulling his braid out of it's entangled mess. "Well, I suppose I'll see him later, then."

Leilani sat outside underneith one of the dogwood trees that had been planted in the schoolyard. He sat propped against the small tree as soft pink and white petals fell around him, his lunch and the book he was studying from both in his lap. Just in the middle of this lunch his book was ripped from his hands. He looked up, reaching for it. "Hey..."
A boy, about 6' tall with a good body tone and dark hair and eyes, stood above Leilani, sneering. "Hey Precious. How ya doin'?"
Leilani immediatelly assumed an expressionless face which would keep any one from getting too mad at him...except this boy. It just seemed to piss this boy off a great deal. Leilani had just forgotten that. "Give me my book back, Jake. I'm trying to study," the blonde said in a calm and cold voice.
Jake growled and reached down to jerk Leilani's head back by the hair. "Stop that."
"Stop what, Jake?"
"That!" exclaimed Jake. "That annoying calm, cold front you put up when ever anyone comes near you. It's sickening and it really pisses me off."
"So I've noticed..."
"'So you've noticed?' You cheeky little punk! I'm going to teach you a lesson!"
Just as the brunette's hand came back, forming into a fist, a smaller, paler hand gently but firmly grabbed it from behind. "Jake," a soft voice stated. "Stop this foolishness."
Jake looked back, eyes wide at that voice. "Talis?"
A girl with light colored eyes and amber hair stood just behind him. "Jake. Your next class starts in about five minutes. You should head to the school building now..."
Jake looked down at Leilani, who still was emotionless, then back to Talis. "Ok, sis. Whatever you say..." And he headed on without so much as a glance back.
