When I think I'm Alone....
| | Kai walked slowly on the muddy path. The wind was blowing hardly and it was pouring rain. Dark clouds filled the night sky, making the moon just barely visible. Small puddles covered the ground and they splashed as she walked over them. She reached up, brushing the wet hair from her face slightly. She was holding a book, it was all black, with a lace book mark hanging out, but by now, it was soaking wet. She stopped for a moment and looked from side to side,
"Why must I have a horrible sense of direction...?"
She whispered to herself as she stood there. She knew it was a bad idea to come out here in the evening. Was this her punishment for acting dumb? She let a small sigh escape her lips, this was the last place she would want to be in and the fact that it was the middle of the night, made it one hundred times worse. Though she knew that just standing here regretting the fact that she came here in the evening, would get her nowhere closer to home. Soon she began down the muddy path again, observing everything closely, hoping she would get some what closer to home. Though she knew it was unlikely that she would get out of this forest soon. A few minutes had past and she was still nowhere close to getting out of this forest. Kai knew thinking about it, would just worry her, so she tried her best not to. Though it was fairly hard not to and soon she was worried again. Kai rubbed her arm slightly, it was very cold out and she also regret wearing a dress. That was just another thing that was making this night horrible, so trying to take her mind off things, she opened her soaking wet book and began to read as she walked. She loved that book, so it was sure to take her mind off of things | |
