BOOK PREVIEW: Two Halves of a Whole
My head felt as if it was being pulled underwater by invisible arms. Each arm like strings, small but choking. I clawed my throat trying to relieve the stress on my neck. My flesh ripped and blood spewed, but the choking continued. My eyes started to slide back, my strength started to lack and the arms still withstood strong. As I opened my mouth to scream, my surroundings changed. The arms were gone, my throat normal. I was covered in a canvas of black.
His chestnut eyes enraptured me and made my body limp. "Christi..." he whispered ever so softly in my ear. His voice echoed and made his own mark in my mind. His silky touch of his hand stroked up along my arm and across my shoulder. His other hand caught me by surprise and gently help my chin up. Then his godlike lips reached mine and I felt as though every worry of mine would disintegrate.
