Hollow within hollow vein. Sliding in, mostly in vain. Sadly something most can avoid. Keep my composure, mindless android. Should be used to it, though I'm not. Feel it trickling down, slightly hot. Nerves under fire, molten piercing rain. Close my eyes, undeniable pain. Push the plunger, down it goes. Metaphorical sweet, sweet rose. At last it comes, now at ease.
