Yami's Journal on How Gaia hurts its own Economy
I've been on gaia since 05 and one thing i notice is Gaia does some of the most stupid things that end badly for the users.
The Math is Scary
I forgot to include this with my last entry so intead of editing that one i'll just make a new entry for this.

The Following is some math done to illustrate just how much the DC is giving out. When you see how much it gives out you might think twice about pushing on that little claw machine at the top of the page.

This math is generalized, and is based off of only 1% of the registered Gaian Populous. Out of 10,000,000+ users i think its safe to say that at least 100,000 of them use the Daily Chance Not to mention all the mules made to get more Chances.

One day gives you 8 Daily Chances, there are 7 days in a week. In 7 days a person will get 56 prizes from the Daily Chance. Now there are 365.25 days in a year depending on how you round up or down. 365 x 8 = 2920. In 1 year a person gets 2920 prizes from the Daily Chance.

As things are now, in the month of February a person receives 225.25 Daily Chance prizes (the .25 if for leap year stuff) In April, June, September, and November (30 day months) a person will receive 240 Daily Chance prizes in those months. In January, March, May, July, August, October, and December (31 day months) a person gets 248 Daily Chance prizes in those months.

With the knowledge that 102,092 users logged on in Mon Sep 03, 2007 8:54 pm and 123,381 on Tue Apr 01, 2008 8:44 pm, from 9/3/07-9/3/08 there will be a total of 250,000,000-298,108,640+ Daily Chance prizes given out to users. In 4 years 1,000,000,000-1,192,434,560 Daily Chance prizes will be given out.

If a person manages to get 1 bottle of ink a day, they will be getting 365 bottles of ink, that they can sell getting them hundreds and thousands of gold. It isn't fair to the people who work for their bugs and ink. It isn't fair that a whole Industry must suffer because people don't want to work or pay for their ink.

Gaia is giving way to much, and with all these prizes coming into the economy with no 100% way of getting rid of them outside of users leaving Gaia, the marketplace is suffering a large blow.
