part three

The soldier nodded and said, “The informant says her name is Catra and she was last seen with him.”
My breath came out in gasps as pain and a million other emotions race my mind; Why, why would someone side with? It would explain why the orbs no longer kept him out but no one besides Pep and Silva knew she had been with me and I made sure we weren’t followed. Would one of them really betray her and team up with my brother? It was no secret that I never trusted Silva but could he… would he really betray her? I knew Pep wouldn’t do it; he absolutely worshipped her. She took him in when no one else cared or wanted him. She never left his sight, so it all came back to Silva.
With more confidence then I felt I gathered myself together and said, “You’ll never find her, I sent her far away.”
“Well then I’ll just have to hunt her down,” he said venom dripping from every word. “Get him out my sight and burn the village!”
I didn’t struggle as the soldiers dragged me outside; the only thing I could manage was a hateful glare I directed towards my brother as I was dragged by. Needless to say it didn’t bother him and seeing my confusing smiled. Outside my people had been thrown into iron cages in which they were chained to. I was brought to one such cage but this one was empty; it was to be prison alone. Before being placed inside my hands and feet were bound in iron coils that not even my tail blade could break. The last thing I saw was the frightened glances of my people before a hood was placed on my head. The hood was hot and sticky and in my current condition made it uncomfortable and clastopic. All of a sudden a sharp pain could be felt in the back of my head. I slumped forward as blackness consumed me.
Chapter 3-Red-eye

As my men led my brother away; he glared at me as if that would some how scare me. I smiled in return; soon, very soon I would be rid of him for good. I was angry that he refused to tell me where the female was but then again I didn’t really expect him to be any help. Ah well; perhaps beating it out of him would work; until then I’d have my men search.
Waiting outside was the dragon that at my command had dug his claws deeply into my brother’s back. With wounds like that, he shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Moonscar (the dragon) bent low so I could jump up onto his back; I watched as the huts were robbed of anything useful and then set on fire. With that done we set out back towards my castle with Moonscar flying above my men. “Did you find what you seek?” he asked curiously.
“No,” I replied heavily.
“A pity,” came his slightly amused voice.
“No matter; I will find it,” I said huffily. As we traveled the sun sank slowly and after several hours of flying I felt Moonscar slowly descend. He landed lightly on his feet and heaving a small tired sigh; gently shook me from his back before sinking to the ground. I knew it would be several hours before he’d fly again so I ordered that camp be set up. I patted Moonscar’s scaly head; feeling a little guilty, I had pushed both him and my men to reach the village. A day’s rest would do everyone good; perhaps it cold cool the rage I held inside of me not being able to get the orb.
Food was brought to Whitefeather and his people while I looked on in disgust. Maybe as punishment for not telling me what I wanted to know I should make him go hungry. As I thought about it Moonscar’s eyes fluttered open and he raised his head nostrils flaring. Before I could ask what was wrong his head moved to the side like lighting into some nearby bushes. I heard someone let out a surprised and frightened yelp as Moonscar brought him out from behind the bushes. The person dangled in Moonscar’s teeth and I smiled as I saw who it was. “Well, well if it isn’t the despised Hawkeye.”
“Tell this beast to let me go,” he snapped angrily.
Oh and why would I do that? One snap of his jaws and your out of everyone’s way,” I answered with smug amusement.
“I haven’t done anything to you or anyone else; you have no reason to hurt me,” he replied struggling to get free.
“Hmmm…Indeed; well let’s see what my brother thinks,” I said bored. “Moonscar let him go.” Soldiers grabbed him as fell to the ground. Walking over to Whitefeather’s cage I unlocked the door and tore off the hood.
With narrowed eyes he mumbled, “What do want?”
Stepping aside I asked, “Dear brother you do know who this is correct?”
“Of course I do,” he spat in reply.
“Well I was just wondering what to do with him. Any suggestions?” I asked.
“What do I care what you do with him; he isn’t one of my people,” Whitefeather answered bitterly.
“True enough, well I just I’ll let my man blow off a lot steam,” I snickered. Laughing six of my finest men dragged Hawkeye away and proceeded to beat him. With him taken care of I turned back to face Whitefeather. Now was the perfect time to have a little fun and reveal the informant.

Chapter 4-Whitefeather

I watched as my brother’s men dragged Hawkeye away and I admit I did feel a little sorry for him but he wasn’t my concern. The only things that concerned me were my people’s safety and making sure no one knew where to find Catra. Hopefully she had figured out to summon the Divine Dragon and was safe. I also hoped she could handle to responsibility; it was unfair for the entire future of no only my people but possibly the entire world to rest on her shoulders but then again the Divine Dragon wouldn’t have chosen her if she couldn’t handle it.
My brother then turned back to me and I knew from the sickening grin on his horrid face that he wasn’t done yet. “Shall I show you the one who betrayed you?” I narrowed my eyes but kept silent and nodded. “Very well, soldier bring the prisoners over here,” he ordered. Everyone was released from their cages and brought to stand before my cage and my brother. In a booming voice he commanded, “I want the one responsible for your capture to step forward and reveal him.” Everyone looked around as a figured moved to the front and I was stunned to find that I had been right along, it had been Silva after all.
Chapter 5-Silva

I stepped forward, away from everyone knowing every eye followed me but the ones that held the most surprise and anger were Pep’s and I didn’t need to see to know it was true. Red-eye sneered as I walked to his side but before I turned to face everyone I looked at Whitefeather and was glad he’d been caged for the look in his eyes said that if he could kill me then and now; he would have. “I always knew you were trouble but to betray Catra and everyone else that’s low,” He spat before turning away.
Hopelessly I turned and saw that Pep had also stepped to the front and was glaring at me with murderous eyes. Red-eye stood beside me chuckling happily as he said, “Now you all now who betrayed you to save his own worthless hide.”
