HAPPY HAPPY.
Alright. Today was same old same old.
Me, Rosie, Mateo and Joseph took the train to 95th street so we can kill time after school.
All of a sudden....
THIS WEIRDO DUDE WALKS IN. He has his arm stretched out holding a mirror. The mirror is facing him and he says to himself, "HEY LOOK! A HAPPY PERSON ON A TRAIN!"
He walked to the end of the cart and then me and my friends just laughed. Joe said, "Oooooooooook" and Mateo was like "What a friggen weirdo!" and Rosie was like "...."
I was like... "THAT GUY IS AWESOME!"
Everyone looked at me weird, but I knew from the moment he screamed that what he was up to.
I thought of Juan Mann, the creator of the Free Hugs Campaign.
Mann's mission is to give people "Free Hugs" to help brighten up their day. In this world, we have people who are really alone in it. No one who it there for them or just needs something happy to help them. People like Mann are people I admire. To be able to make people happy is something that can either take effort or something funny.
Most people can't make a large scale of people happy be sitting down and talking to them one by one. So being funny is the first and best option.
That's what Chris Dehar did today.
He went to sit on at the end of the cart to talk to this women who was sitting by herself.
I kept glancing over, "I should talk to him, he's in need of praise for his efforts." I thought to myself.
Mateo laughed and continued calling him a crazy person who forgot to take their meds.
Joe just kept telling me to ignore him,
and Rosie said "I swear if I was that lady I would slap him."
I got so mad, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!? He's just one of those people who do funny things to make people's days and lives a little better!" ... "I should talk to him."
Joe grabbed my arm, "You ARE insane aren't you? Stay here."
I guess he was just worried about me. "What if you talk to him and he ends up stalking you? Just stay here and wait for him to leave."
No, I knew what I was doing.
I got up and left my book bag on the chair. It didn't matter- the train was still on the 95 street [last stop] station. I walked up to him and he held the mirror to my face and said, "LOOK IT'S A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG GIRL! SHE'S HAPPY!" I laughed and tried to stop so I can speak. "NOW SHE'S LAUGHING!" He continued. I got a hold of myself and said to him, "You're one of those people who come to make people's days happier, right?"
"Smart girl," he said to the lady who from afar looked upset, but up close- she was laughing. "She knows about people like me." he finished.
He turned to me and talked to me about his TV show project he's working on. He gave me his autograph [I didn't even ask for it- he offered and I took it. Which is pretty cool because I admire people like him].
I told him about the Free Hugs campaign and why I was able to notice. Also how how I want to do something similar when I'm older, because as EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW, I love making people happy.
He looked over at my friends and Joe and said, "What about them, do they think the same way as you?" and I said, "No, they didn't even want me to talk to you. They think your crazy but hey- I admire the fact that you're doing this and actually making people happy. And I support it 115%!"
He laughed and I went back to my seat. My friends then believed I was right, except Joe. He was mad because I disregarded what he said about being careful and how he may being a creepy stalker kind of guy.
When the train went back to 86th street and all the people got on, He did it again.
He made a bunch of people laugh, it was hilarious. EVERYONE WAS HAPPY.
Joe kept laughing, but wouldn't admit he was happy.
I clinged onto him and told him to admit it was making him happy.
I screamed out, "Happy Guy! Make him happy! He's been having a bad day!" Even though his day was pretty normal. Mateo joined in and called Happy Guy over.
And yes, he made Joseph happy.
At 59th street he got off and said "GOODBYE EVERYONE!" and before he got off I screamed as loud as I can [which is very loud]
"HAPPY GUY! YOUR THE BEST!!!" he turned and smiled, mouthing the words "Thank You."
Mateo and Rosie got off and just kept laughing.
Joseph was laughing too. He stopped himself and I said, "OH C'MON, that so just became the highlight of your day!"
He denied it, "No, marching band was"
"YOU HAVE MARCHING BAND EVERYDAY!"
And it continued.
I clinged onto him and laid my head on his shoulder. "It was sooooo the highlight. I can say it was mine, now you admit it too."
"Marching Band"
"Happy Guy"
"Marching band"
"HAPPY GUY."
At 36th street he admitted- happy guy.
I hugged him and kissed his cheek, "Yay~"
And everyone still on the train was still talking about him and laughing.
Happy Guy Made Us Happy.
Made Joe Happy, Made Me Happy.
And Two Happy People In A Relationship [that so far has lasted 3 months O__O;;] Results In More Happiness~ X3
