Invading Your Mind
I was cleaning my room this morning because there was nothing else to do. Nothing was on TV, and I wasn't hungry enough for breakfast. Cleaning my room was the only thing I could do and be sluggish about it.

I came across one of my school binders from third or fourth or fifth grade...whatever, it was from when I was still in elementary school. They were still in decent enough position, so I decided to empty them out; maybe I'll be able to use them later on or something. Anyway, I found this poem of mine, written out of boredom I guess.

The trees all hang
limp because the wind sang
a horrible song. 'Twas off-key,
and it even polluted the sea.

Don't ask me why I used "'Twas." Maybe I thought it was cool; I don't know. I don't even remember why I wrote that poem; perhaps it was stormy that day?

My neighbor was painting something in his backyard -- something red I think. I was walking outside to get the mail, and I saw his dogs playing with each other on his (my neighbor's) driveway. It seemed as though he had accidentally spilled a bit of red paint on the dogs' backs; it wasn't too big of a problem. The dogs would just get an early bath. It's strange, though. Those red dogs, when they saw me, seemed so familiar. I even got a little chill, and I shuddered. Of course, it was a little cold...or maybe it was just me.
