First of all for those of you who don't know where Malta is here is a map , i pointed it out in the blue arrow (The red line is the route we took to get there on the plane)
it takes 2 hours and 50 mins to get to Malta from England
ok but about the vacation
Day 1:
Today we are suppose to get the flight to Malta, we checked in online and choose our seats online too. It was a night flight scheduled to leave at 21:55pm on British Airways flight 2872
so we left my house at around 3pm and reached the airport at 4pm.
Because we checked in online all we had to do was drop our bags and go to the gate, so we went and dropped out luggage and then went to get something to eat then headed to the departure area.
By the time we got to the departure area it was around 6pm and we had about 3 hours before flight.
So i went to the viewing area in the departure area where you can see all the planes.
The views were awesome you could like see everything going on , so i took my camera out and took some pics of the planes.
I was happily snapping pics for about 2 hours then........ i felt this person behind me and i turned around and O.O
it was the airport security so yea hear is what they told me
Security: excuse me sir
Me: .. O.O yea
Security: I am sorry sir but taking pictures in the departure area is not allowed in all UK airports
Me: oh, I didn't know that and there were no signs saying photography was not allowed
Security: oh , well you can take pics when your on the plane but not airside
Me: oh ok ok ok
Security: I am sorry but your going to have to delete all the pics you took from here and let me see you delete it
Me: ok ok *Shows security the camera and deletes the pics in front him*
Security: ok , next time remember that photography airside in UK airports is prohibited
Me: ok ok i will remember
Security: ok thank you for your time, and have a safe flight
Me: ok thanks
dam i can't believe i got caught and i had some really really good close up pics dam ! dam! dam! ..... and my mom and her husband was right there when it happened sweatdrop dam ..
oh well i can always take pics outside the airport they can't tell me to stop in a public place
but yea
so it was around 8pm so we waited and the airport shops started to close, i wondered around the place then I sat down somewhere and we waited till we we called and told to go to the gate.
When we were called to the gate it was around 21:10pm and when we reached the gate it was like 21:25pm
so we waited at the gate for about a few mins they we were called for boarding.
The plane being used for today's flight was a Boeing 737-400.
I had chosen to sit at the last seats on the right of the plane by the window.
When we all got on board it was about 21:40pm and the captain came on and said how they still have not loaded the luggage on the plane and we will be delayed until the luggage has been loaded
...
so we waited and waited then
the baggage handlers finally came and stared loading the luggage

lol i waved to one of the baggage handlers and they smiled and wave back xd
By the time they finished loading the luggage it was 22:05pm we were delayed by 15 mins and counting
shortly after that we pushed back from the gate and started the engines , when both the engines were started we taxied to the runway for take off.
by the time we reached the runway it was 22:25 we were now 30 mins delayed , but the captain came on and said how he will try to make up for the lost time.
so we entered the runway and the captain put the engines on full throttle and we took off.

We took off and headed to Malta
The plane was old and had no inflght entertainment and only had magazines, so most of the flight i looked out the window and read
as you can see tonight's flight was full
After about 3 hours the captain came on and said we are going to start our descend into Malta now
we descend into Malta and began our approach into the airport.
The views of Malta in the night were amazing it looked pretty from the air
i never took any pics cause it was just too dark for the camera to focus
We then landed in Malta and taxied to the gate, the terminal at Malta international looked awesome

The captain them switched off the engines then the baggage handlers began to unload our bags,
lol i waved to the baggage handler and he waved back
Once the doors had opened we started to leave the plane
leaving the plane
It was around 2:40am Malta time when he had arrived and when i stepped outta the plane i noticed how warm it was it was like 19 degrees when we got there
When we left the plane we headed to passport control then baggage reclaim then we left the airport and went to our taxi to take us to our hotel
My hotel was in a place called Silema, its a big city in Malta
By the time we got there it was 03:25am and i went to my room and unpacked my stuff and then went sleep , i did not sleep till like 5am
My room was awesome i had everything Tv, Fridge, Balcony etc..
Day 2:
I did not wake up till like 2pm. I woke up not feeling good and i just feel back asleep again sweatdrop time i woke up was 4pm
but by then i like missed a whole day to explore
so just looked around the hotel and went for a walk and came back to the hotel for dinner
The hotel was awesome food, drinks, anything was free cause we staying there it was cool. xd

Day 3:
Still weren't feel any better today but i took some tablets and was feeling ok and today i woke up early like 7am
At around 1pm we were to go on a boat tour of the island and the capital city Valletta
So i went had my breakfast then got ready and we headed to the boat for the tour
waiting for the boat to leave
once everyone was on the boat we left for the tour

my room is on the 2nd to top and the 3rd one down with the balcony doors opened.
The tour boat had commentary of the places as we passed then here we are passing the Capital Valletta

This building was a hospital in the ancient times now its just a normal building

about half hour later we entered the grand harbour in the capital city
there were lots of forts and harbours here
This was a special hospital for soldiers in ancient times now its a political building

hmm the tour lasted for about 2 hours after we headed back to our hotel for dinner.
