It's been well over a YEAR since I posted in this thing. Ye gods.
Gaia continues to be Gaia. I continue to be here. <--short version.
-insert a year's worth of happenings and plotlines and stuff here- <--lazy long version. (You may notice that those happenings ended up with me being a vampire, among other things)
The point I'm actually posting to make:
Today, I managed to come across the weekly poll (which NPCs do you want to see in the next plotline?) long before it was announced. I replied to the thread (since the plotline WILL get me posting) and voted, as I figure is my plot-addicts duty. The special part is that I was the second user to post, and the fourth vote. On all of gaia. eek Wow. The funny part is the results thus far. As of 8:19 Gaia HQs time, I have received, presumably due to that post and nothing else:
-16 profile comments
-5 random friend requests make that 6 as of signing out tonight. lol!
-4 PMs (two random stuff from users, one guild invite to a somewhat freaky guild, and a gift PM from Rina)
-1 random gift (the poinsettia hairpeice I had in my wishlist ^_^)
....but no partridge in a pear tree. They regrettably don't have those on Gaia.

I've been high up on stickied threads before, but never has this happened. Moral of the day: Want instant popularity? Find a thread of site-wide interest first. Word cannot express my hilarity at this. More attention in the last few hours than probably the last 6 months...if not since I last posted here. rofl Oh, humans. You amuse me.

PS- You know the Gwee I was lusting after in the last post? Got it awhile later as a random gift. Dunno who it was, but I got it in a gift-giving thread that sprung up when the gift giving system was put back online. My many thanks to the anonymous user who did that, and will likely never see this. That was really appreciated. ^_^
As of Apr 9, make that:
