Ahhh...Once again, it has been a while, but I just wanted to clarify a few things.
It seems that I have begun to get the reputation that I don't donate and am mean to people who ask! I'm sorry, guys, but donations CAN come in more than just money and items. The fact that I take my time to lead you to my journal...isn't that enough?
But, there are still some people who, I'm sure, think I'm just a greedy wench who doesn't want to help anyone! Well, that's not true. I help those who REALLY need it. And those who REALLY need it, don't beg! They're trying to get what they want on their own. 3nodding
I have been know to, on more than on occasion, give a random gift to someone who's questing. Typically, it's an item from their Wishlist. 3nodding And I have usually known them for a while...or at least know them well enough. I have given out 5 OMG Boxes and 5 Long-Stem Roses as Christmas and New-Years gifts. More recently, I have donated 20K, a Brown-Bunny Hoodie, a chain linked belt and a Shadow Spirit to a friend who's questing.
All of these donations have gone to someone who was working hard and has done things for others as well. THAT'S what catches my eye the most! Not so much a "What will you do for me?" as a "What have you done for your friends and random strangers?" Everyone I've donated to has gotten something because they've either shown kindness to myself or someone else on more than on occasion.
So, please...don't get mad at me just because you're wanting MY gold and I won't give it to you. WORK for it...Trust me...It feels a LOT better biggrin 3nodding
