What does it take to show
to prove and acknowledge
the love you have
for someone?

I was sure you were the one
Because we had so much fun
Every day I waited for you
When you were gone I missed you

I was sure that I loved you to the Earth`s end
But little did I know that all I was, was a friend
I tried so hard, thinking I had you by the hook
But then my world was turned upside down and shook

Because all that time had no worth
Like a baby dead at birth....
I thought you were the one for me
But you thought differently, apparently

I watched with angry eyes every day
For you to let her go, let her fly away
But you never did, you kept her forever
You said your love for her would end never

You never knew how much you hurt me...
How every day I would think to flee
To leave the world and everything in it behind
Maybe you would look...and find

But I couldn`t bring myself away from you
I tried other guys, but none were like you
You were amazing, the perfect guy
Everything you did made me feel I could fly

But nothing I could ever do or say
Could make you love me that way
Just friends we were....
For forever more....

Everything anymore is unfair
As everything I love is snatched from thin air
I don`t care anymore
For this sadness there is no cure

As I weep and cry
And do all I can
I know nothing can convince you that....
I`ll always love you more than she can....

This poem is for all the girls with broken hearts, becuz the one they love simply does not love them back. And they know he is the perfect guy, but nothing they do will ever convince him....to love them more than he loves HER.
