I'm Too Young for This
The perils of marraige and motherhood
Chicago Part 2
I got back from Chicago on Saturday. It was amazing! On Wednesday, when we got there, we went to Navy Pier for lunch and shopping. They had a Ferris wheel and some other rides, but I didn't go on any of them. After lunch, we got on a double-decker bus and took a guided tour of the city. Then we went to the top of the John Hancock Building before dinner at Gino's East(best pizza ever!) On Thursday, we sang in the chapel at Northwestern University, then at Daley Plaza. After lunch, we toured the Oriental theater and another theater right down the street. We sang on the stage where Bob Hope got his start! That night, we had dinner at Ed Debevic's, then we went back to the Oriental and saw Wicked. Anyone who thought I was obsessed before, brace yourselves! 4laugh Friday morning, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry and saw some lame dinosaur video in Imax. We were then turned loose on Michigan Avenue for almost 4 hours. There are 2 Border's bookstores downtown, in case anybody's wondering. The mall is 7 or 8 stories high!!! We went to the Drury Lane Dinner Theater for dinner, and we saw Sweet Charity...that was definately interesting...So, anyway, moving on. On Saturday, we went to Shedd's Aquarium and saw a dolphin show, but we didn't get to see the sharks. stressed All we did after that was pick up our luggage and go home. I guess it was just as well, though. The smog was making me sick, and everyone needed some sleep! By Friday night and Saturday morning, we were sleeping on the bus between places. But we still had fun!!!That was definately the best trip I've ever been on!
