My dad has been in my life for only about 4 years so i feel like i hardly know him and i dont really trust him. After my moms death he said he wanted me to move with him and i didnt really tell him that i did or didnt and i really dont. That put me in a real bad position because i want to live with my grandparents. So a few weeks later my grandparents got papers from the court to file for gaurianship of me that i had to sign saying that is what i wanted. My dad got the papers in the mail a couple of days ago. He called me asking what i wanted to do and i told him that i wanted to stay with my grandparents and he asked me why and and i said because i hardly know you and dont trust you. this is the first time i actually told my dad exactly how i felt ever. but he still wanted me to live with him, but to make a long story short he is allowing me to live with my grandparents which earned y trust of him because he really hasnt been that good of a dad to me sence ive known him and this is the first time and now i feel like i can be more opent with him because of how he handled it. so now every one is happy so yeah
