shoots monitor I can't figure it out. My monitor is making a horrible electronic squeal. It doesn't always happen, it's on and off throughout the day, but it happens enough that it's very distracting. I know I shouldn't do it, but I've smacked my monitor a few times out of frustration. It makes it stop briefly, but it always comes back. >_o It's just so annoying and it hurts my ears. Someone thought it was because of the heat, but it squeals in any temperature. I know because it's been happening since the summer. I was naive to think it would just go away on its own. >_> I've tried searching online for help, but a lot of people just seem to be returning the monitors for a new one. I've gone past the point of having the monitor replaced for a new one for free (if that was even something that is offered), and I can't afford to buy a new one. So I'm not sure of what else to do. On a completely unrelated note, David's Pumpkin seeds are really salty and have a horrible after taste. Bleh. XP Never again. In Gaia related news, I'm busy. :O Also, I love the Tamas. I want to drown in Tamas. huggles heart Now if only we had squirrels. I want an army of squirrels to do my bidding! cackles

	O.o ... <_< ... >_> ... -Eats monitor- Problem solved. Wow, how long have you had the monitor? It sounds like the capacitor is dieing gonk Which isn't an easy fix unless you're good at soldering sweatdrop

	So, uh, I saw you in the anniversary thread and loved your outfit and then I saw this--I wonder if you have a cell phone near your monitor? They tend to cause feedback.

	The squealing is coming from the piglets that I hid in your monitor...it's sad that this would explain why when ever you smack it the squealing stops momentarily wouldn't it? Although...You posted this a while back...so they're probably passed the point of piglets...has your monitor been having oinking problems lately?

	Uhh..I hate that sound!!!I had that problem back then...My dad told me it was because the monitor is overheated,overloaded,and I don't know how this fits in with anything but he said it was also because of dust and you should clean it often Okiday..I know that thing up there doesn't work well because I ended up (almost) throwing it away and buying a Mac...but here's an article I found.
