Well, I pretty much thought I was going to stick on the Rau account, but I flamed a whole bunch of people out of well.... I was just trolling. Hahaha. I can't help myself. It's so fun to get people riled up. Anyway, I was stupid enough not to notice that I wasn't doing it on a mule account, so I had to move all my items to this account before it gets banned for a while sometime in the future.
Man. I thought I was going to quit Gaia so many times... BUT I KEEP GETTING INSPIRED TO GO BACK ON. The roleplays. My guilds. And now my new charity. I'm pretty much focusing on my guilds and charity. If I stay away from Gaia I get withdrawals. NOSRSLY. D:<
But anyway, I ripped DxM in two to the chagrin of my members, but I don't really care because I think I pretty much know what's best for the guild, and I got it this far. If I don't have the time to do all the stuff that needs to be done and I have to put it off, then that's what's going to happen. It's my guild, and I started it. I try to give my members a say in what goes on, but sometimes I just have to take action. Besides whenever I decide to give them a little responsibility and trust them, nothing ever gets done. So it's basically up to me, or it's not going to happen.
Well, now DxM is Opus Magnum, and I've opened it up to all artists, of every kind. Even those who don't write as well. I plan for that guild to continue taking in hordes of new members, with very low standards. But I used the Satellite guild as the new DxM, except really it's going to be like the old DxM. A bit more exclusive like it used to be. A haven for those who want a place to roleplay that has a smaller closely knit community. I can't do that with a guild that has 1000+ members in it, and readily accepting more each day without regards to their roleplaying capabilities. I want to start over and do things more cleanly.
I've pretty much finished renovating Opus Magnum, and the front page of DxM, but I need to create the stickies for DxM. For Opus Magnum, I only made one and I decided to keep things a lot simpler than I had in the past. (What with each forum having two or three stickies.)
I also now have a charity to run that I'm quite proud of. We've already donated more than 400K. I don't exactly keep track, but it must be around there, since we keep track of the rice we give out. It's called the FreeRice Charity, and it has the double benefit of providing rice to the poor, as well as increasing literacy and vocabulary on Gaia! <3 It struck my brain when I first found out about the FreeRice game, and the charity is a hit. Unfortunately, it's a bit difficult to keep the thing funded, but I do my part with Gaia Cash, and there have been a few generours donations. Still we're always at the edge. You see, everyone who visits the charity has the potential to walk away with 10K each week, and most do. So we have to fund about 15 people each week with 10K donations. I'm running that all by my lonesome as well. I signed on a few staff, but most of them are absent. One of them today did a bit of work, but most of it has to be taken care of by me, and it takes a while to sift through the pages for submissions.
Well... I WISH I COULD QUIT GAIA I REALLY DO. ;_____;
