What the other person said:

The Concrete Meaning of Life

Being dragged into existence is exciting at first. Everything is new, and you're learning all kinds of things. Your parents tell you you're special. You slowly grow up and you realize what's been going on. You aren't special. Everyone else is just like you, and you're just a human being.

Your role in this life that you've been dragged into isn't obvious. Your first job is to get properly educated. When you're young, you may question why, but maybe you'll realize later. This is to prepare you for a career- a service that you do to either A. Give to the economy so that it doesn't falter or B. Work for the convenience of others. You can choose to take either of those paths. This is the concrete meaning of life, believe it or not. We're all born for the convenience of others.

What I said in reply:
Or, C you can become a crazy guy and play 'let's shoot as many people as possible! I don't believe we are born for the convenience of others, our society is only a system of processes and subroutines set up by our fore-fathers. Everything was going fine for a while, but the problem with a democratic government is that it is easily corruptible. You get a couple people to invade and change the government to there will, then the democracy is screwed for the rest of eternity. the thing the fore-fathers messed up is with one minor detail. That decided to have the president make all the choices because they thought the general public was to stupid to make these decisions. Well, he was right. A solution to this would be that, in order to vote, you must pass a test. You have to know both sides of the argument, and you need to be able to explain your proposition and or position on the subject. This would fix our society and s**t if we went back in time, but it's to late now. Anyways if I went to be a hermit and lived off the land I'm not serving anybody but myself. D: mrgreen

Right about now there is a test to vote. It's called "Who watches the most Reality TV?" I say that because the democratic candidates are up on podiums bickering like 5 year olds verbally attacking each other and then attacking each other's attacks. And one anchorman had the nerve to criticize McCain's temper regarding foreign relations. I think Hillary or Obama correcting the foreign ambassador with their extensive knowledge of political correctness would start more wars than Hitler. Mind you I'm neutral on the political agenda. All of the presidential nominees are unfit for public office.
