A sad autumn night:
I can't hear my desperate cry
in the roar of a cruel, thunderous storm
I can't recognise my restless mind
in the movement of ominous, dark clouds
I can't see the drops of my tears
in the rain slashing down on earth
I can't smell my harassing fear
in the stench of my dying existence
I can't feel any flicker of hope
in the sadness of this grey, blue world
I can't remember your comforting voice
while running through the foggy shadows
Of a sad autumn night
