Their fingers entwined, the heat from their hands created a sticky sweat between their palms. He pulled her in close, wrapping his arms around her waist. She breathed in his spicy smell. To her nothing smelled better. They stood there, neither one speaking, as they watched the sun sink behind the hills. The sk was ablaze with hues of red, gold, and purple. Slowly the stars came into veiw. Each like a precious diamond. He bent his head down and lightly kissed her violet hair. She looked up at him, her green eyes sparkled. He met her gaze as his own greyish blue eyes sparkled. Their lips met, soft and warm, but only for a minuit. The perfection of the day was almost over. He released her from his arms. The night air shilly in place of his body's heat. He reached into his backpacl and pulled out a long stemmed scarlet rose. Around the stem a black stain ribbion was tied. He gentaly laid it into her hands. Tenderly she stroked the silky petals. But she knew what it ment. He saw her as a rose, sweet, yet violent. As fragie as the silky scarlet petals. he himself was the ribbon. Shroud in black, strong, yet flexible and soft. He was her protecter. She knew that he had to fight against his instincts. So she decided to let him be himself. She looked back into his grey-blue eyes. She droped the rose to the ground and reached up and took his face into her hands. His eyes widened but he didn't fight her. Her lip's met his once again, but this time the sweet softness of before was no longer. But a forcefulness and power, that he did no know she possed. His eyes slowly closed as he pulled her to him. She realised how strong he really was. Panic rang throughout her mind, but she pushed it away. Hungerly he kissed ber back. Minuits passed before he broke away panting, filling his lungs with much needed breath. He layed down on the cool grass, as she did the same. Their hands entwined as the stared up at the night sky. The stars seems even more brighter than before adn the full moon, colser to the earth. This was the most perfect night either of them have had in a long.
