MOITER'S SHOUTBOX ... better header to come soon sweatdrop
Birthdays

I often wonder at least once a year, “What’s a birthday and why is it so important?”
I spent a couple hours researching “Birthday” and came up with interesting results.
(Look it up sometime, you won’t regret it.)

I’ve noticed when you’re younger it’s a countdown of anticipation towards the day of
presents cake and ice cream and an off day from the normal. Younger people
anticipate the moment they can utter “and a half” to their age.

Then there are “Milestone” ages. 18 the large one, being the default adulthood start
age; Then there is 21, the legal drinking and gambling age. But what’s after 21? 26
where insurance starts reducing because that’s the magic year when people start
driving safer? Witch I personally can debunk ninja .

So for those older, its no longer anticipation, it’s more loathing and dread.
sweatdrop Struggling till the last day to acknowledge you’re a day older.

I personally believe you are as old as you feel. So for those that hear me say I’m
29, that’s why. This year I will be abused at gaming tonight because not only am I
turning a year older <Still 29 ninja > But I will be spending it with the fine group
of misfits I refer to with pride as my friends heart . Allot has happened over this
last year, but the one thing I will always remember is the friends and family that
have been there with me for it all biggrin .

For my birthday istead of cake and icecream being seperate we're having an icecream cake, and hard-rock candy.
I'm turning 14 on this November 26th.
I look forward to my birthdays because it is another year older, and another year wiser. My conclusion through the years is that family may be there to guide you, but friends will be there to help you, and love you when others can't. So cheers to the many years spent with many different friends. And to the family members still yet to come.
And cheers to the old age we all will have, and the life we will live.
Most of all cheers to the things we will never remember, because we were too drunk to know what we were doing!

Have a happy birthday!
And remember....cheap stripers can not be found in the phone book. xP
Love ya like a friend.
Signed,
Becky.

-P.S.-
You better be on for my birthday, because that would we the best present anyone could give me.

I, personally, just think b-days are important as a celebration of life (even if you think it sucks, that's all in your mind) and of who you are. It's a day for friends to celebrate your presence in their life. We shouldn't need a special day to do that, but even the best of us are prone to taking some of the most important things in our lives for granted. It helps to have a day to remind us not to.

well, interesting study... though why is 26 an important number? well maybe that is just the passage from the drinking smoking party guy to the dude with a job and a life and such. as for 18, big hype, no turnout... hopefully 21 will be better

well, first off, happy birthday!
or perhaps I should break it up a little more... I want to wish you a joyous celebration of your day of birth. this means, I appreciate that you were born. I don't care how many candles are on your cake, but I'm glad you are here now, to talk to, to make me smile, and the thought that maybe sometimes I make you smile. numbers matter when it comes to bills and income, not when it comes to how many times you've gone past "go."

so, happy celebration of being born and being alive. luff you <3

Hope you have a great Birthday! I think I will make the most of my Birthdays before I turn 21 wink
Sometimes it makes me wonder though. I don't feel suddenly to me so much older on my Birthday. I think it must be just another thing to celebrate. Yay for celebrations! 3nodding
