The gift bestowed upon a romantic is a perspective through a window of wonderfully blissful exaggerations and inflations. The curse is that he must wake from this world of self-made perfection; to either find cracks in his chosen pedestal or open his eyes to the infinite possibility of other idols and soap boxes. The obvious path is then promiscuous hedonism, but the logic still demands compromise. Laugh it out or cry in awe of the theatricals, when life is but a play, entertainment trumps logic.
