My PC was down for almost two months, due to a bitchy classmate, whom is ironically here in Gaia (Sakura_Rocha), though only because I showed her this wonderful place, had handed me in my Pen (transport data) four viruses.
Note, I had only asked her for a file of an assignment done in our first year in our course of drawing animation, and I wasn't asking for the complete file, just the file the professor had given us. I had asked her, since she said she knew where her was, I had lost that file. She kindly said that she'd give it to me with no problems. Yeah right.
When I get the pen back, and put it in my PC, it starts yelling viruses found. So it locked the viruses in a instant. I checked what was left of the pen. A few folders and an word document : which yelled about her not being my slave and that I should look for it myself.
One could see how confused I was.
That was all because I supposedly hadn't returned her game of Sims, which I did. But she kept insisting that I hadn't. Her sister had kept my pen until I got fed up with the stupidities of it. Seriously, I lent the pen for her to bring the next day, since I needed it for a project I was doing with a few other of my classmates and a professor (not during class time, and extra project) the next day. I only got the pen back a week later. The files I was working with were over 100MB in size, so I couldn't work at home, because of her and her sister.
Whom had the nerve one day to confront me in front of the school. Yelling out how she'd b***h slap me if I didn't give what was hers.
I didn't notice at first who it was. It was after my last class and the profs had given us papers to read, which I did while I was leaving the building, I was looking down at the papers, so I only see people's feet. I saw one pair come into view, so I walk to the left, it appeared again in my front. So I do the natural thing and look up, being that I had attempted to avoid crashing into the person, but said person was in my line of walking. And there the brat was yelling at me to give her game back.
I was already in a fowl mood that day with an increasing headache due to it. But I couldn't really hit or shove her around - one reason being she's a dumb kid, another the guard was watching (so a definite no no is fighting - there's risk of expelling), etc.
I only growl for her to leave me alone, you don't want trouble kiddo. As if she listened. rolleyes
The arguments on this stupid subject continued, long after everyone's stuff was returned. I had to make an extra copy of my copy of the game, which wasn't the same as theirs (which they complained about, gee I gave them more than what they gave me, and it cost me a couple DVDs).
Some people still ask if there's something wrong. Being the girl used to be like a lost puppy following me every where in the school (during all 1st and most of our 2nd years). I had pity for her in the first year, she was shy and didn't really attempt friendship with anyone - last time I do that... (attempt friendship without noticing how bitchy they can be).
That rant above was due to my PC down.
Then once I got my PC back, I had a lot of mail to catchup on.
Many were rejections to places I had applied for my internship. Due to the fact I never replied back... *sigh*
Their letters in response basically were:
1st mail: oh we're interested, come by our place at this time with your stuff.
2nd mail: ok, you don't need to come by any more. We see you're not interested.
Dammit. There was at least five of them like that. I had applied to several, for higher chances of getting one.
There was also a tons of art and messages to read from Deviant Art. I had over 1k art and close to a half k of reading stuff. I took a good while reading and seeing it all.
I was in no plain mood to go into forums at this point. I'd want to at some points, but my eyes would hurt a lot.
To top it off, I finally learned what was wrong with me. Being in the last year I had missed a lot of classes for not feeling well. I had at first put it off as the common flu. But the flu doesn't or at least shouldn't make me have to sleep sitting, because of not being able to breath.
what was wrong (quotes from having wrote in just about every other place I go):
"I have problems with my thyroid gland, which is located directly in the neck under the adam's apple, it controls how quickly the body burns energy, makes proteins, and how sensitive the body should be to other hormones.
Due to so I also have Hyperthyroidism, result of excess thyroid hormone production, causing an overactive metabolism and increased speed of all the body's processes.
Includes high heart rate - beating very fast.
Thyroid hormone generally controls the pace of all of the processes in the body. This pace is called your metabolism. If there is too much thyroid hormone, every function of the body tends to speed up. The thyroid gland regulates the body temperature by secreting two hormones that control how quickly the body burns calories and energy.
Since my body has been working much more than necessary - say per example I maybe be just sitting down watching tv, my body is working non stop as if running laps around a football field - this made me lose a great quantity of weight. I have already lost over 10 kg (around 22 pounds) in barely a month.
Also explains my tiredness, just working around the house for a few minutes (around 10 mins to 15 mins) I get exhausted, and my house is small, it's a square.
My breathing is complicated, even more so when eating, though lately has been better. When I meant complications, was due to the fact about choking on beverages and mushed/chewed up food.
My medic never really explained how it effect my sleeping habits, but supposedly it was what caused my lack of regular sleeping hours - tended to sleep average of 5 or less hours per night - excluding a minor hour during the day.
Shaky hands and stress is added on top. I just start seeing and feeling my muscles tremble in odd ways. Reason why I can't even draw a straight line.
- quotes -
Levothyroxine is a stereoisomer of thyroxine which is degraded much slower and can be administered once daily in patients with hypothyroidism.
Graves' disease may be treated with the thioamide drugs propylthiouracil, carbimazole or methimazole, or rarely with Lugol's solution. Hyperthyroidism as well as thyroid tumors may be treated with radioactive iodine.
Percutaneous Ethanol Injections, PEI, for therapy of recurrent thyroid cysts, and metastatic thyroid cancer lymph nodes, as an alternative to the usual surgical method."
- ends quotes -
I currently take six pills a day, two at every meal, soon afterwards, which meaning another medic examination, the dosage might be either lowered or raised.
I can't have certain pills to slow down my heart due to my Asthma would kick in making things worse - or so I've been told.
That should explain it, if not type in your search bars any of these words:
►Asthma - for those who do not what that is..."
On a great note, the day I start taking my pills my Jeep comes back all fixed. It had gone into repairs just about the same time the PC went down and the DVD player died. (yeah, every thing dies at the same time, a great beginning for summer break)
And the pills don't allow me to drive. I was almost over two months, more maybe since the PC came back before it, with driving, now I can't even drive until next year, February being the estimated six months.
Plus didn't help Gaia did a turn around on its look. I couldn't seem to post back then when I tired to come back. At least it wouldn't with Firefox, but I dislike using IE.
I think that's just about it, to explain it all.
