A Silent Angel's Lullaby
The beautiful serenades of an angel, silenced by the binding chains of the almighty wrath of God. His rebellious acts towards Heaven's serenity flow through his voice and compel the malevolence within him to surface.
Lullaby Entry 17: *yawn*
Well, I just came back from a trip back to my hometown just this weekend. It was a break I'd been looking forward to for the entire month of September, but even so, I wish that I could've stayed longer than just two days. I hung out with my little brother and played Halo 3 for the first time on Friday (FYI: In my opinion, Gears Of War is the best shooter of all time, and trounces Halo repeatedly. Yeah, that's right. I practically said that Halo sucks.) xd

I visited Nichole the very next morning. We went to visit her grandmother's house for lunch; it turns out, contrary to my previous skepticism at Nichole's statement of her grandmother's cooking to be the best food in the entire world, she was absolutely right. (I bet she's f**king glowing about it right now as she reads this statement.) After the homecooked meal was finished, we went through a few stores nearby and snooped around for some post-anniversary presents. I semi-bought for her Outlaw Star on DVD, and she slipped 40 bucks in my pocket while I wasn't looking. We went back to her house and played around until about 12:30 or so. I got home at 1:00, packed my things, got some rest, and left home at about 6:00 in the morning. gonk

Funny/Disturbing Story: On the plane ride back to Tyler, Texas (the town where my college is), an old man sat in the seat that I was assigned to. I figured it was no big deal; I wasn't going to demean myself by arguing over a seat, especially with an elder. Instead, I just sat in the seat next to him. As I fastened my seatbelt, I could feel the blind stare of the old man on my body. Even after I was done, he continued to scan me up and down, wringing his hands eagerly for some reason. He wasn't just looking at me. He was eye raping me. (Just so you all know, I'm a guy. Think about this scenario.) ninja

After doing so for about a few minutes, he finally spoke up: "That's a nice hat you've got on there, son." I winced, smiled a bit, and turned away. For the rest of the flight, I didn't look in his general direction. At the end, I walked briskly away from him as quickly as possible.
True story. Every bit of it.

No poem for this entry. I'm still in a state of non-motivation. If I get a spark of something, I'll edit this entry. For now, it shall be inconclusive.

xd rofl Yes! I am ******** glowing about it! I am glad you found the money though. You do need it whether or not you protest it. At least it wasn't the $100 I said I would give you.
