Q. If God is so good, then why does he let bad things happen?

A. The world has been cursed from the time Adam and Eve sinned. Bad things will
happen to the people who deserve it and the just. Also, if you might believe in
Karma... in the Bible it's called you reap what you sow. Whatever bad thing you
do, it comes back to you. Whatever good thing you do, it comes back to you.
Still, bad things will happen, even if you don't deserve it because of the curse.

Q. Does everything happen because of God?

A. No. I know that a lot of times people think that if a prayer is answered
"negatively" they think it's because of God. God gave each individual gifts and a
purpose. Whether the person lives by His purpose or not, that's up to them. I
think that if someone doesn't serve God, they're plan in life takes another
course thus, the enemy takes a part in it. What I'm basically saying is that the
Devil can take a part in it as well.

Q. Why doesn't God just get rid of Satan?

A. The day will come when he and all the evil will cease to exist.

Q. Why hasn't God done that yet?

A. God gave man a free will. The will to serve Him or not. To choose life
or death. God will not force us to love Him. Nontheless, He does not want
anyone to go to Hell. That's why the Lord has given so many people chances to
accept Him. The day will come when all the evil will be gone. Until then, God
wants everyone to have a chance to get to Heaven. He knows who will accept
Him, and who never will. After everyone has had a chance to come to the Lord,
the Rapture will happen.

Q. What is the Rapture?

A. The Rapture is the removal of God's children, so they will not be here during
the Tribulation.

Q. Where do people go to in the Rapture?

A. Heaven.

Q. Who can go in the Rapture (or just to Heaven)?

A. John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Ephesians 5:3-5 says, "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor
foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of
thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor
covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ
and of God."

1 Corinthians 6:9&10 says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the
kingdom of God? Do not be decieved: Neither the sexually immoral, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offender, nor
thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom
of God."

Revelations 21:8 says, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which
is the second death."

1 Peter 1:15&16 says, "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy
in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am
holy."

Q. It's impossible for me to be perfect! I guess I'm going to Hell then, right?

A. That's where Jesus comes in. He paid the price so we don't have to go to Hell.
That's why we can ask for forgiveness when we sin.

Q. I already believe in Jesus. So, I don't have to worry about sinning. John 3:16
didn't say anything about not sinning. So, I can go on sinning with my worldy
life, right?

A. Wrong. It is man's nature to sin, but we should still try not to. We can't just sin
and think that it doesn't matter, because God will forgive us later anyway. For
Hebrews 10:26-27 says "If we deliberately keep on sinning willfully
after acquiring the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sin is left, but only a
dreadful expectation of judgement and of raging fire that will consume those
who oppose God."

We accept Jesus into our hearts first, then we straighten up our lives with God.
For Romans Chapter 6 tells us that our old bodies died to sin, so we are no
longer slaves to sin. But, alive with Christ.

Q. What is the Tribulation?

A. It starts immediately after the Rapture. Where all Hell brakes loose and the anti-
christ takes over. This lasts up to 7 years. Though, the scriptures say that the
time might be shortened or there won't be one person living on the face of the
Earth.

Q. So only the Christians will be Raptured?

A. It won't just be the unbelievers left behind. There will be many christians who
will be left behind because they are living double lives, not living according to
the word of God. There are many Christians who are still sinning willfully. God
knows our hearts. You can't fool God, so don't fool yourself.

Q. I'm not Christian, am I going to Hell?

A. I don't know. I'm just a messanger to spread the Gospel. God knows our hearts
and He is the judge. I do know that to get to Heaven, you have to have Jesus in
your heart, and you must live by how God tells you to live. The Bible is your
instruction manual.

Q. What is the mark of the Beast?

A. The mark of the beast is the number "666". The people that are left behind and
stay for the Tribulation will be asked to accept it.
If they accept it, it will be marked permanently on their body and it will never
come off. They will be doomed to be cast into the lake of fire and suffer for
eternity.
If people don't accept the mark of the Beast, they will die a terrible death
but go to Heaven and live in Paradise forever.

For more information on the Tribulation, read the last chapter of the Bible which is called Revelations.

People who obsess over religion scare me.

    </3

Please refrain from preaching on gaia.. Some people, like myself, find it really offensive.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but still you don't need to broadcast yours to the whole virtual world.. Specially when your opinion is dealing with an extremely touchy subject; religion.

You know there is still tons of speculation over when the rapture is supposed to occur. I went to a Christian school and we studied that in Bible class. It doesn't say it will happen at the beginning of the tribulation. It just says that it will occur. It could happen in the middle of the tribulation or at the end. Not necessarily at the beginning. Hopefully, it will be at the beginning but you have no proof of it being then so don't tell everyone that it DEFINITELY is happening then. You live by the bible? Why don't you read it again. About 7 years? No, it is 7 years.

Since there isn't anyway to reply back to you, Aliareana...

The 7 year tribulation starts as soon as the christians are raptured. At the end of the tribulation period Jesus Christ will come back to this earth in the flesh with ALL THE SAINTS that were raptured and all the saints who died and went to Heaven. This is called the second coming. The bible says things will be so bad here on earth that if God does not cut the tribulation short then not one person will survive. Mathew 24:22 says, "And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elects sake, those days shall be shortened." So of course I believe God will cut the tribulation short and not fullfill that full 7 years, but ONLY GOD KNOWS THAT TIME.

The mark of the beast is not necessarily 666.

and about Aliareana's post, Wikipedia again

    Wikipedia
Three different views predominate. The first is that it will take place sometime prior to the Tribulation. The second is that it will take place mid-way through the Tribulation. The third is that it will take place after the Tribulation, when Christ comes to earth to establish his kingdom, taking over rulership of the world for 1,000 years. (see Millennialism).

My youth pastor says he is pantribulation. Meaning that things will all pan out in the end. We should live as if it were going to happen today.

You shouldn't be preaching on Gaia.
    You are not a Preacher.
    So knock it off.
Some people happen to NOT be Christian.
    And EVERYONE sins.
    EVERYONE.
    Even you.
So stop and think about that.
    You are only human.

    There. stare

(A reply to all of you)

Look, as a Unitarian Christian, I think that since the Bible was written by a man, one in Rome and one in England, that it's a very narrow road to go on. You have to be careful with what you say. That is, because the Catholic Bible and the Protestant Bible are different. As much as I believe in God. I also believe in Unity of Religions. And this is offensive! Some don't even believe in Heaven. Or God. Or anything. Just the Universe.

Everything that is on this Earth and up in the Universe can be explain. The Big Bang. Evolution. Space and Time. It can all be explained Scientifically. Yet, people just want to believe in something. Look, I'm not saying don't believe in a higher power. But don't preach or go on and on and on about it. Okay?
