When the whole world turns as to dust, we remain.
As the years press on and no children are born to man, we remain.
Even as man travels the stars in search of what it lost, we remain.
It is our lot in life, so we remain.
Our children are born, but are cut down before us, we remain.
Our children are used to furnish homes of man and to build the homes themselves, yet we remain.
Our souls are lost to the sands of time, and we remain.
We punish man with storms and fire, we remain.
Man fights against us, builds stronger homes, and we remain.
We have given all we have, so now we rely on that last, perfect killer of all life......time. We shall remain.
