I am combining these two days simply because a play-by-play on the arena voting is tedious and I am sure very uninteresting. Not much to report about yesterday. Started off strong (as in way better than I even considered myself possible of doing) and ended about where I started on day 1. Today hasn't seen a change. I am noticing from my comments that either the style is loved or completly unimpressive. Apparently, the fact that my outfit isn't jammed full of items is a bad things to some people. While I do respect everyone's opinion, I can't seem to wrap my head around how having so many things that you can't see any details and the avatar is no longer recognizabel as a person can be appealing. Maybe it's just me, but a good outfit let's you see the person's style, not their stuff (or in a few cases, their ENTIRE inventory). I have also noticed that the description is what salvages many people's opinions. I always read the scripts when I vote, just so I know what the person was shooting for. If you are looking like a plain character with no extremely identifing marks, than telling me a story about why your entry is so non-discript is guaranteed to get high marks from me (low is 3-5, high is 6-8, and a 10 is for the people I can tell worked hard to get the avi and the script as polished as they could). I can't stand seeing an avater that has a lot of expensive or rare (i guess they tend to mean the same. sorry for the monotony) items and an EXTREMELY lame script. I don't mean some thing that is bad narrative (I have enough imagination to make up for that), I am talking about things like 'NaRuto ROX' and other very annoying comments that just portray how little you thought about the competition.
Heh, sorry about that rant. Didn't mean to make y'all listen to it. Guess some things these people are doing agrivate me a little. Anyways, I am still open to any suggestions about my avi, and thank you to all who keep complimenting my current attire.
