We took a carriage to the mountains, which is where we would stay for the next eight years. Raphael taught me many things about life, he was quite the philosopher. He lived in an enormous mansion in the mountains. He aquired his wealth, he says, by investing in Bumping Forums.
In the mansion, there were many rooms, decorated in white granite and gold adornments. It housed many statues, which seemed to stare at times. My room was on the third floor, second hallway to the right. My room itself was larger than my old house in Durem. In my room, there was paintings from all over Gaia, and one with a V crest, representing the Von Helson family. The family is huge, he says, it could take a life time to meet them all.
I returned to school in the fall, since I got to take the rest of last year off. They had no problem with it, they said my grades were well enough to skip half of the year anyway. I stayed, I enjoyed learning. My teachers were nice, and so were the students. I didn't have many friends, but then I met David.
He was one year older than me, but I was taller. We met in home room. We used to skip class sometimes, which was his idea, and we'd hide in the Gymnasium. Later in the year, when my birthday came around, he came by the mansion with a box of chocolates and flowers. He liked me, and I liked him. On Christmas, we shared our first kiss. We had many romantic times...
I graduated top of my class, looked upon by my peers, enemies, and my family. At the day of graduation, David proposed. The others thought we were too young, but I knew that I and David were for eachother. The wedding was held in the spring, among the flowers. Family from all over attended. It was suggested that I would keep my last name, and David owned the Von Helson name.
After years of work, Raphael built a glorious mansion in Durem, my home town. I was glad that I and David were invited. I was even more thrilled, for I was pregnant.
