Well, Shimagakure seems to be moving along quite smoothly. I'm proud of all the members, crew and vice captain of the guild. I never thought it would be possible to find a guild that had trust worthy and honest people in it. I'm happy with how we function and it does seem to become quite like a family. I consider everyone in the guild my friend, eventhough we just know eachother through text and cute avatars we dress up. This may sound a bit nerdy, but I actually bring up some of my friends in the guild to my friends I talk to face to face. When someone brought up softball, I added in that my friend Shizuka coached a team. I get made fun of a bit about saying those kind of things, but I don't mind too much.
I know some people may come to think of others they meet online as not real friends, but I wish I could prove them wrong. You create a connection with the person, share opinions, stories or even pictures. People talk to their friends they know face to face over msn, yahoo, aim or scype. Those conversations are real and hold value as well, so I believe it shouldn't be any different between someone who haven't met face to face. The things you saw online effect people offline on levels you may not think possible. It may be helpful, hurtful or friendly advice that effects the person. I hope that at all times its the better of the three. When I browse the forums and see people get in arguments over silly things such as literacy or the meaning of a manga it makes me a little sad. Many people have quit gaia due to those encounters.
To me, gaia can be related to the real world. Shimagakure, my guild, is like my home in gaia. Its like an escape and safe haven from the bad things spreading throughout gaia. My friends are there and visit daily. Most of my friends I consider like family. Izumi Neko and Baylu Eras are like my little sisters while Ivory Vamp and Aznka are the motherly authority figures. They may be harsh, but in the end you know they're right and are doing good for you. C4 Cyberlink is like my brother with knowledge of almost everything and Hiro is like my younger brother who can do something sweet or helpful that puts a smile on your face. Sakuran is like the kid next door who always want you to come out and play. She's always there to chat and do something fun. Demonic is like my little brother as well like I have to be a good example for him, which his mostly his character my character relationship. Ichi almost feels like Daddy in that sense. Lithlius and Dimonyum are such a great team and good role models that I hope I'm able to get a buddy and be close like they are. Kuroyomi is the talented one and your like an extension of my mind. I wish I could be creative like you and your pictures give me such inspiration. Aski is a spark of fun with great originality when it comes to character. I enjoy when he's around and wish we were closer. And 5huga, you're a sweet in every inch of your body. I also admire you for your unique characters and creative writing skills. You and Aski are so much alike. You're like the couple in the group that should be together, but are great as friends as well.
There's so many more people in the guild and I could go on about all of you for hours, but I think you may find that a little creepy. sweatdrop Thanks for being a part of Shimagakure and I hope that we can last for more than just a while.
