Ah, yes. Procrastination.
I got a call from the library two days ago. They said they have a book on hold for me. But I have about five books on hold, so I have no idea if laziness can get the best of me and tell me it's not worth trekking to the library in the middle of the summer heat or my responsible side tell me I wanted this book for months and I need to get my lazy a** out of the house and get the book.
Well, to solve THAT problem, I completely forgot about those darned books until my father arrived home today so I couldn't go.
OKAY, okay. I remebered at around 4:00, but my dad was supposed to be home and I didn't want him to come home to me missing. So I decided that I wasn't going.
Now, the library has a hold limit of three days. After that, the book goes back on the shelf. So luckily, I called up the library and told them to hold it until Saturday. They know me well enough to comply.
Or they do that with anyone who aske=s, it's just that no one asks that often because they get the book the day after the library calls.
So NOW I have to figure out some sort of plan so I get my a** out and get the items. It would be so much easyer if I had a bike of my own...
