I am back from the Hurricane rock festival. And boy, did I ever have fun. I was in the first row almost the whole ******** time long and I got the bruises to prove it.
I saw from the first row:
Snow Patrol, Die Fantastischen Vier, Beastie Boys, ear-o-tation, Mumm-Ra, The Bravery, The Sounds (*points at Leadery* Wow, they are really awesome!), Mogwai, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Incubus, Marilyn Manson, Howling Bells, Isis, Sugarplum Fairy, Porcupine Tree, Kings Of Leon (*points at OC* Haha! I saw them! First row!), Sonic Youth, Placebo and Pearl Jam.
Not a bad cut of the festival I think. It means I have been standing in the first row for up to twelve hours straight each day.
The parties after the music were awesome as well. At least as far as I remember. I am suffering from my first black out due to alcohol. I also lost my glasses during the time I can't remember.
But if you, Nick from Australia (whom I lend my Newburgh Goldbacks Sweatshirt to which you still have!) or Adam from London read this and remember the girl with the way-too-strong drink that stumbled upon you in the last night could you please tell me what the hell I did?
