Hello one and all, sorry I haven't written anything lately, that's just me being lazy. sweatdrop Well, to start things off, shortly after school let out, my family and I went to see a show by Ciruqe Du Soliel. If you don't know who they are, then you're probably living under a rock. xd They are a troupe of acrobats who perform areial feats while incorperating music and acting. This was the second year I've gone to see them and it is still as wonderful as the first time I saw them! The first year I went they did a play called "Varekai" which made me cry at one point. whee This year they did a play called "Corteo", which was about a dying clown who was looking back on his life and remembring all the good things he has experienced. Even though the play seems to have a depressing tone to it, the performance is fun and playful, showing that even in the end you can still be joyful.
Another thing that went down, I got my hair done at a salon owned by a church-going friend of the families. This turned out to be a big deal because the change was so drastic. I got most of my hair cut off and had golden tones added to the bangs. The best part was the hair stylist. He was so excited about doing my hair, I'm guessing this was because we were the only people at the salon. So now I have awesome hair!!!! heart I'll have to put pictures up when I get the chance. Speaking of pictures, I must learn how to upload pictures onto DA! (Yes, Manulea, you must teach me the ways of DA... twisted ) I also need to work on drawing my Squishy people for you all to see, but I haven't been working on them. crying (Sara is a good girl, I promise!!!!)
Now, for the best part of the entry... FAMILY VACATION!!!! As of now we are in Moab, Utah, and so far the trip has been "eventful". cool On the first day here we go out to raft at Westwater Canyon, which is part of Colorado River. You'd think that since it was my first time ever on a rafting trip I would play it safe and go on a oar boat, but no, I just had to go on the paddle boat. gonk So both my brother and I went onto the paddle boat with no prior experience, and my parents are on a oar boat. We're all having a good time on the river, no troubles at all. I'm having a blast using a paddle with everyone else, and we have a few water fights with the other oar boats. Then we pull up to a shore to have lunch. All's fair and well up to this point, then we get back on the river, right before we get into the rapids, little did we know what perils would befall us... dramallama
