Yup! I finally got to hang out with Nick today. We didn't really do much actually, but when you look at it we never really do. We basically just listened to music, watched TV, ate food, stuff like that. We found out that you can actually use the Guitar Hero controller for any other PS2 game it's just... really hard to control. We also had a candy fight! That was fun. We got bored and we were just sitting there. I had a box of Nerds in my lap and I just couldn't resist. I wanted to get some reading done while I was there though I should have known better. Reading an awesome book and I want to finish it so I can get the next in the series. Curse you Cheyenne and your ability to finish books! lol jk Chey. Nick wants to borrow it when I'm done. He doesn't read very often and it's not because he doesn't like reading. It's just he doesn't have time to go to the library and he's too poor for Borders. lol
Ok well... Nick's dog, Toby, really doesn't like anyone except for his mom... The thing is so cute but it won't let me play with it! Something about that just bothers me... Most dog's will always run right up to me and lick me or something. The fact that there is one dog on the face of this planet who does not want to play with me just ticks me off... On the other hand it follows Nick's mom where ever she goes. The thing doesn't even like Nick too much...
Speaking of Nick's mom there was a very interesting conversation I had with her today. Me and Nick were playing video games and she came in with a bowl of popcorn for us. So she turns to me and asks, "So Chris, how has your summer been?" So I told her it was much more eventful than I thought it would be because I was out everyday with people. Then Nick turns to her and says, "He's been out with his girlfriend!" He was probably referring to Arlynne... So glad she doesn't read my journal... So any way after that she kept on saying things like, "Oh that's so cute," and, "Is it someone I know?" ...I kept trying to explain I don't actually have a girlfriend but Nick kept inturrupting me... Whatever...
Well honestly I feel like I belong more in Nick's family than I do in my own. Granted if I was in his family I probably wouldn't have nearly as much as I do now... They're great people. Uncle Greg is so cool and Auntie Dee is really nice... to everyone but Nick I guess... I will conquer that dog and make it love me stare I really love going over there. Man I wish I could hang out with him more often... Well I will once I get back from Colorado I guess. I promised him that he'd be the first one to try out our digital cable so he'll be over sometime this week I guess. Well I'm off to go rip the CDs he let me borrow... well actually forced me too but those are awesome CDs... I've got the best best friend in the world mrgreen
