okee.. i can't quite catch you up on everything, so i'll just try to give you snippets.
on the ed robe' front:
last night we went out and had a decent time.. he noticed about an hour into my being a bit low that i was upset and then today decided to press me for a reason for why i was low. not really being sure how to answer, i dug through my mind to try to find reasons for why i would be low and told him. he didn't like that answer, saying he didn't believe me. so i kept digging and found something more inane. he said that it seemed like i was reading into things too much. i told him that if he didn't push so hard for an answer he could believe, he would be able to hear the truth instead of hearing me try to find some sort of bullshit that could possibly explain my feelings.
it's well after midnight and he isn't around... i went to his place about two hours ago to try to see him and say hi, but he wasn't there. talk about the aggrevation of someone not using an away message.. i know he has an 8am class, and i'm wondering where he would be that he would be so involved that he wouldn't think about getting home to get sleep before classes.
on the classes front:
things are going smoothly.. a japanese test scheduled tomorrow that i'm pretty much ready for.. some kanji tests in the next few weeks... a nutrition exam next tuesday that i'm hoping i may possibly be ready for.. nothing much. more or less uneventful on this front.
the work/art department front:
lots here. i'm working every tuesday and thursday for a painting class, and i've been recruited by a guy named david to help him with a series of paintings that he'll be working on over the summer. pretty much what this means is that i get a summer job and i get to do more modeling. how excellent could it be? i've been spending a decent amount of time with amy, and that means that i've also been spending time with tony. tony is one of the teachers for the painting class i'm working with, so he wanders in and out multiple times during my shift. he's a sweetie and talks to me often, keeping me from totally getting lost in my meditative world. there is also this incredibly skilled guy with green tipped hair, and he's making a painting of me in my venus pose with various changes: i have dreds, i have a giant helmet-beak thingie, and i'm covered in black and white checker-board squares. it's amazing watching it develop.
more than that... i haven't seen mel in a while. we overlap here and there, but no real time for talking or hanging out.. neither of us have even had the time to do the dishes.
i'm beginning to think that reading and sleep may be the best for me right now. i normally feel better after getting some sleep... hopefully that will be the case tonight. till later....
