Avi Art Collection

Well over the past couple of months I've been doing avatar themes every time I get bored with my current avi. I've done a genie, a traditional kimono avi, an Egyptian Princess avi, a punk rocker, an Easter avi, a tavern server and there should be plenty additions to come. It's truly been a blast and I've created tons more ideas for future avis on tektek.org.

Besides having a regularly themed avi, I am also getting avi art for each theme I create. It's been a great little tradition on Gaia that I've been successful in keeping up so far.

So this post is just a record of all the awesome art I have collected since my first themed avi. ( This time instead of going from oldest art to newest art like in my old art journal entry, I will go from newest to oldest.) So enjoy all the artistic delight.

I had ordered from two different artists to draw a representation of my gypsy avi and just a few days ago I got my 1st order in from l Ruki l. I adore the detail she put into the dress, the richness of the color, and softness of the background! I appreciate Ruki keeping me updated and finishing my art; for I know she got super busy when life got in the way. It was well worth the wait and I'm glad to add it to my collection.

My Dancer Avi above was done just as speedily as my gypsy avi yesterday, by the very same artist Britisch Milchbrotchen. I'm thankful I could take advantage of her open slots and order in advance for this future theme of mine. I plan to stop by her joint shop again in the future. She did an excellent job!

My Gypsy theme seemed almost impossible to get art for. I had been waiting
for some time for art of it from two separate artists and I still am. Usually I have no problem with a bit of a wait, but I was very enthusiastic about this avi for the past three months and I suppose really wanting to equip it made me eternally impatient. Now I call it a blessing in disguise because all the restlessness made me order today from yet another artist Britisch Milchbrotchen. She, to my delight, turned out the commission above in record timing...mere hours from me ordering. I was shocked. And such a wonderful artistic interpretation of my gypsy it is. I was so impressed, I ordered from her again on the very same night. Thank you Britisch!

My Amazon Tribal woman comes to life in the picture you see above. Lucky for me I came across an art shop ran by iseelittlepeople who helped bring my avi's vision to life. The picture came out great. I especially love the pose she did with the spear! I truly hope this artist sticks around for a while because I will definitely consider her again.

The headshot above was a surprise to me by Kirameku Mika as a birthday gift! I wasn't expecting that! It looks amazing for what she called a "quick headshot." Thanks so much Kira for the wonderful gift. I loved it so much I'm using it in my post format as a flob!

User Image

Ahoy me hearties! The pirate avi above was done by an artist I just recently discovered, majo_princesita. I ordered from her once before and I just had to preorder again before she got booked up. I love her style and she may just become one of my favorite artists! Hope to see more art from her on here.

User Image

The Christmas Cutie above was done by my friend and favorite artist -- though you can probably guess by now if you've been following my updates -- Kirameku Mika. I was grateful to her that she even took my order because she's been really booked lately and had a lot of other art projects to complete before the holidays. But she told me to go ahead and order and she worked diligently. She finished it the day before Christmas Eve and it came out exceptional! Thank you Kira!

My Circus Mistress avi is yet to be equipped, but I preordered the art above and got it quickly finished by majo_princesita. Doesn't it look just fantastic? I really love the pose with the whip! I'm so glad I came across her art shop and I'm sure to order from her again sometime! I just hope she'll have slots open. Art like this is hard to come by at such reasonable prices!

The above is art of my very first mermaid themed avatar. I wanted an artist that was comfortable drawing fish and my good friend and fave artist, Kirameku Mika was the right girl for the job. She did a lovely job on the mermaid herself and did excellent using her imagination on the tropical fish and underwater surroundings. I loved her little details...like the ocean floor with the aquatic plants or the rays of sun breaking through the water. I told her to add fish and make it look like it was under water and she brought me this. Bless her artistic expression. Job well done and always a pleasure doing bushiness with you Kira.

The lovely Grecian Goddess above was done by my all time fave artist Kirameku Mika. I'm sure her name has been mentioned several times in this entry. (If you haven't noticed you aren't paying attention. *winks*) Kira awed me again with this piece. I asked for a column filled Grecian temple as the setting and she pulled it off wonderfully. The detail of this background is one of my favorite things about this art. And then there is that almost celestial glow of the goddess. Perfectly done! All in all this piece is simply divine.

"O-M-G!!" is the only audible way to describe the beauty and detail of this piece above. I consider myself lucky to get a slot in FKiyohiko's shop. Opening new slots every Monday I practically stalked the thread all day to be the first in line and it paid off wonderfully. With art of this quality, nowadays you'd have to pay millions of gold, but he let's people pick their own prices. Being my first over-100k-art- payment ever made... I paid 165k for this baby. I also got a special treat, watching him draw my commission on live stream. I had a great time -- watching my "Ice Queen" request become a masterpiece and having amusing chats with the artist. With truly delightful art of this kind, I'm sure I'll return to his shop one day.

So Easter is coming up fast and I just had to have a special Easter Avi this year since last year I kinda threw mines together and because I am officially doing avi themes anyway. The work above is the art to the aforementioned avi, done by my regularly chosen artist Kirameku Mika. It was actually done free as a birthday gift for me. She'd been really booked lately, but I'm happy it was done just in time for Easter. I'll be needing this soon.

User Image

The adorable little piece above was done by one of my friend's N30N_D3M0N for free as a part of her giveaway thread. I've been helping her out with her thread, sticking around to bump, helping her with ideas, and just hanging out with the newcomers. She even made me a sorta mod there. She's awesome and I really appreciate this art. She did it with crayon too amazingly enough and it came out great.

This caped beauty in violet is a Super-heroine avi I had created and was very perfectly captured by a favorite artist of mine Kirameku Mika. I really love all the little details she put into this piece and I'm glad she had a lot of fun with it. It really came out better than I had imagined. So thanks again Kira! I'm definitely becoming a regular buyer from you!

Both of the wonderful pieces above (the spotlight version and the regular version) are drawings of my elegant Victorian age avi. Both beautifully and carefully done by Anaya Sexual. I've used this artist once before and plan to use her again sometime. She is in my price range and I love her style.

User Image

This is another lovely rendition of my elegant Victorian Avatar, this time done by one of my favorite Gain artists Ein Chay. He gives such great quality work for surprisingly low prices and I absolutely love his style. Very happy I got the first slot when he reopened his shop! I am very pleased how this came out!

User Image

This last piece of work, a head shot of my Victorian Avatar, was done as a freebie for me by Kirameku Mika after I unknowingly won a page contest. It has lovely quality and it is my very first head shot ever to add to my collection. Very nice job Kira.

User Image

This beautiful fairy was drawn by the same artist Kirameku Mika for yet another themed avi of mine! I especially love the wonderful work she did on the flowers -- all the vibrant colors used. Kira really brought my fairy idea to life. I can't wait to use this as my sig!

User Image

Isn't she just the perfect blend of feminine meets I-can-totally-kick-your-butt? wink Well the lovely work above was drawn to portray another one of my fun avi themes. It was done , in great time I may add, by Anaya Sexual. When I clicked on her art shop and saw her style I knew she was the artist for me. Very satisfied and glad I came across this artist.

User Image

This cool line art sketch was done by a friend of mine Im-CrazyDuhh 445 (now Azz Nee-Chan ) for free. We met on the CB hangout thread and eventually got to know each other very well. She's awesome to give me this freebie and she did an awesome job on it ! Thanks Crazy Duh!! Glad my avi inspired you so.

User Image

This is the additional art for my cute pink avi I had a while ago! NeferiouslyNotoriousWolfy had given it to me as a freebie because the art came later than expected. She did a fantastic job on it nevertheless. If I ever equip that avi again I shall use this as my sig!

User Image

The beautiful work above is another well done piece by the wonderful Ein Chay. I love his work. He sells at such a small price but he has amazing quality. And I had actually gotten this done free, but I tipped in appreciation!

The very first picture at the top is the original version of art done by
Fluffy_Cranberry_Bagle. Isn't it just adorable? I gave her artistic liberty to the background since I couldn't think of one and she did a lovely job on it. The candy even looks real! hehe so pretty! Well I good luck on her and her friend's joint shop!

The second (and larger) version of this avi is almost the same except for the now red bracelet and headband. I colored this in paint after considering my tektek version and my color scheme. I like them both though! heart And I realize the tektek coloring looks a bit off (because even on a different computer the shades of red looked screwed up even to me . eek ) making the bracelets look too dark and the head band pinkish, but I had the red look in mind. Anyways thanks Fluffy!

User Image The cow girl art above was done for another theme of mine! It was drawn and colored by Shiori Odomato. User Image Aint it jus' purty? Yee haw! wink

Both above works were done by Ein Chay. Amazingly he only charges as low as 25g for his art, but I of course I gave him a huge tip. The first one is for my warrior knight avi and the second is not really a true theme, but just a girly avi I created with a purple halter top. Both pieces came out incredibly well and I love the background on the first one. I'll be sure to do business with him in the future!

User Image

That lovely Indian avi drawn above is probably another one of my fave pieces! Matet_228, the gifted artist, did a lovely job on it! The colors were done gorgeously. I can't wait to equip this avi and show off the art!

User Image

The picture above is a cute Chibi-like art I got drawn from a freebie thread. The artist's name is loopylemur and she did a wonderful job! And can you believe it was free? But I tipped of course! Also it should be noted that the original version had green eyes but so it could match my avi I panted them over brown.

User Image

The adorable piece above was done by Yuffie Yamamoto for the same girly pinky avi I designed above! It's just so cute! I bought another fullbody for this avi from another artist so you should see another picture like this soon.

User Image

And this is the same piece that I edited a bit because I noticed the hair was bluish and my avi's hair is darker. I also added lips (that was my fault for tekteking my reference with out a mouth) sweatdrop

User Image
That art was sketched and colored by ehs_queen2006 after Easter. This was my Easter avi. Good to have a memory of it! Thanks for the freebie ehs_queen!

User Image

This art was done by Tsumethaisha for my Tavern Girl Avi . She did an awesome job and I must buy from her again! Just look at that... it comes to life

User Image
This is another artwork by X.dun.dun.dun.X created for my "Red Carpet Ready" avi! I love it!
She did many variations of it, but I love this one the best. It has an awesome background! The story of my first free piece from her is below later on.

But first speaking of free art this is a freebie I received from Marisal for a punk rocker chick avi I once had.

User Image

After messing around in MSpaint I made a fully colored creation that I settled as my sig at the time:

Below is the first art I got free (not including the tip) by X.dun.dun.dun.X She did a wonderful job and I loved her style, which is why I had bought from her again.

User Image

The last piece above is probably one of my fave avis, the kimono avi. This was my first piece of art that I bought from a join art thread from an artist named Osment. Very proud that this was my first!

User Image

As I continue to collect more art, I'll put them in this journal entry. Wish me luck!

That's cool. And i like all the themes that you do, just for your avi. And it's a nice idea because sometimes it's better to go back to old than new. ^-^ mrgreen
