Hykara's Story/Experiment 777/ Born the Same ( aka my story) |

^Those are three of the titles I'm considering for my story. So comment on which you think sounds the most interesting . I broke my story up into chapters so keeping your spot is easier .Now onto my in progress story.
Prologue
A young girl not more then 7 hid in the dark shadow under a wooden cot. All that could be seen from a glance was a pair of emerald green eyes staring out. Her quiet breathing could barely be heard even if the room was dead silent. However she was soon to be pried out of her hiding space. The young girl knew better then to sit near the front of this metal and cement entrapment box where she was being held. When the scientists who captured her first came they tried coaxing her out of the cage, she could tell that weaker willed beings would stand near the bars. She would not be coaxed out, she wasn’t dumb she saw that bad things happened to people who were able to be coaxed out because they never came back or if they did they were mutated. She knew that she would be one of the people that left eventually, however she figured if she didn’t make her self noticeable that her day wouldn’t be sooner.. She feared every hour that came, every time the strange men came in.
Unfortunately she couldn’t stay hidden under the bed for ever because her stomach made grumbles and groans and she knew she needed to eat. So when all was quiet she slowly crept out. She slowly crawled not making a sound over to the food plate that got put out about once a day. When she turned around, she was shocked to find that the space under the bed had been covered. Then everything went black.
She woke up on an upholstery and that she could only figure was a table or chair. She couldn’t move at all, her neck her arms, her stomach and her legs were chained down with some kind of heavy metal. When she opened her eyes she saw a bird, the odd thing was she was sure it had talked to her, “This must be a hallucination because that can’t be real “she thought.. She heard a man’s voice outside the door. , she never heard the second voice so she only could figure he was on the phone. The mind of the girl was still foggy , the girl struggled to listen to what he was saying for clues of what was going to happen. Since her mind was in a blur the only things she heard was “We’re saving the chemical enterprise by buying all these chemicals, the least we should is a discount!” However the thought of that was soon lost in the mists of the blur of her mind. The man came in and said something to her but that also got lost. She felt him press a needle to her left arm. Black mist surrounded her mind yet again.
This time she woke up, she was not chained to any thing. She looked around the room it was a room she had never been in before, all the walls pitch black, it was like they were closing in on her. Still sitting she saw a paper next to her. It read:
-To Experiment 777
Due to your unique reaction to the injection, we shall be testing you in rigorous activities to see how the chemicals have affected you and in what ways and by how much. You shall remain in this room until the testing begins.

Now that the girl’s mind had cleared it was going into a kind of shock phase At this point she was now beyond confused. Many questions now swirled in her head. How could she just know those words without ever learning them before? Why couldn’t she remember anything from before being taken away? The second phase of shock was when she realized she had grown much more then normal she looked down at her self and saw she had a hour glass figure and everything else that much older girls had. Her hair had somehow lengthened all the way to the floor and her skin was that of a leopard's . She didn’t understand how any of this was possible. She also felt the compelling, wanting to see herself in the mirror. When she raised her hand to feel her hair she felt something furry. She ran her hand up and down it until she realized she had grown cat ears. For the first time she noticed that she had a leopard tail as well. She gentle brushed her new tail up and down not believing what she was looking at, as well as touching the cat ears. About an hour later she noticed she was being watched with a security camera. She jumped and kicked out the security camera. She braced herself up against the wall next to what she assumed was the door. Sure enough security came; she had the advantage since the security hadn’t know she was up. As soon as the two guards came in, she made them bump heads to knock them out for an adequate amount of time to escape.
Chapter 1 : Surprise Encounter
A pair of leopard ears flickered at the noise made in a near by tree. The girl stood up on the tree branch to get a better view of the tree where she had heard the noise. She wore loose baggy blue jeans , with a black sleeveless top , her skin was that of a leopard's . Her leopard tail swished back and forth as she peered with her purple eyes and tried to make out the shadow she thought she saw but now had disappeared. She turned around to sit back down again when she faced nose to nose with a boy with gray wolf ears and tail. “So you were the noise “she said looking him over. He had a gold earring on one of his ears, black bands on his arms, a blue sleeveless shirt and his baggy pants and sneakers.
“If that was noise you heard was of my heart beating to see such a pretty lady “he said smiling. She rolled her eyes.
“No for the beating of a heart is quiet, I meant of the noise of you coming from there to here.” She responded.
“I was careless because I was excited to get to be face to face with such a beautiful lady.” He explained.
She glared at him.” My name is Hykara, so stop calling me lady “she retorted.
He bowed to her as gracefully as he could on the tree branch and announced “My name is Mio at your service lovely Hykara.” She was about to respond but her attention was turned away with another sound that seemed to be coming closer. She jumped over to another tree that had more leaf cover and lay on her stomach parallel to the branch so she wouldn’t be seen. She glanced up to see that Mio was laying on the branch above her looking down at her. She rolled her eyes and then concentrated looking for movement from where the sound was coming.
Two male figures appeared out of the shadows. One of them was blonde haired male with fox ears and tail he wore a black vest and red pants, the other had shaggy black hair , glasses and was dressed in all black shirt and pants , with a white lab coat on. She was too far up to hear what they were saying , she carefully moved down the tree so she could hear better , but by the time she was in range they had started a vicious sword fight and there was little talk. The fox one was one doing most of the offensive attacks, even so they were evenly matched in sword cuts. However out of the blue the fox one achieved in severely cutting the other one’s right shoulder. To Hykara’s surprise after the fox guy drawing his sword out of the other one he put it away and he said to the other one ” If you're not going to be part of us anymore then stay away if you know what’s good for you.” And with that the fox one walked off back to the shadows but before he completely disappeared he turned around looked at where Hykara was and said " You two also will listen to my advice if you know what’s good for you.” After he did actually turn around and fade into the shadows.
The one left looked up to see Hykara and Mio in the tree. Before anyone could say anything Mio jumped from the branch he was on ,scooped up Hykara and then jumped to the ground. As soon as Mio touched the ground Hykara jumped out of his arms and exclaimed “That wasn’t necessary nor did I ask for it. I can get out of trees myself thank you very much!” She crossed her arms then turned around to face the person. “So who are you?” She asked.
“My name is Shaku’ he said as he looked at their animal characteristics.
“Nice to meet you, I’m known as Mio and her name is Hykara” Mio responded as they shook hands.
“So, who was that person you were fighting? “ Hykara asked still unmoving.
“His name is Kitarun, he does Varu’s bidding. “ Shaku replied.
“So then you’re one of them? “ She questioned.
“No, or at least not anymore.” Shaku answered.
“How can we be sure that you aren’t a spy for them?” she said still unconvinced.
“There’s no real way to prove that, but if you let me join you then I could help you with your rescue missions of the other people because I have been in most of the labs.” He replied
“I see, so you’ve heard of me.?” she said
“Well I heard of a leopard girl who went around helping other experiments escape, so I guessed it was you when I saw you. So then may I join you?” He replied
“Alright you can come with me, just don’t get in the way.” she said
“So who is the first person we’re going to go save? “ Mio asked.
“I’m not sure, I first sneak into the Anomorphio Central and look through the files and try to find the people who have been trapped for the longer times.” she said.
“I know of a female cat morphion that they named Neka. From what I hear she’s been there for a year and a half. “Shaku suggested.
“Any reason she in particular sticks out to you?” Hykara asked.
“Not really I heard about her since where I worked was close to where she was being held and I remember hearing that they were thinking of testing her with other chemicals.” He responded.
Hykara turned to see that Mio was still there. She sighed. “I suppose you are going to come whether I want you to or not. “She said to Mio, she turned back to Shaku “ Do you have the info we’ll need to get Neka?”
“No I don’t have it.” He said.
‘Alright I’ll go to Central then meet up with you guys by the river. Shaku make sure you clean the cut so that when we get to the lab they don’t know it as a weak spot.” Hykara said. The two guys nodded and she went off in the direction of the town.
Chapter two Journey
About an hour later they met up each of them had a bag . Shaku was first to speak " I went and got us food since if we're going to the lab that I heard about her being in it'll take at least two days by foot. Did you get all the information we'll need , Hykara?"
She nodded and replied " Even better I also figured out how we'll be able to get in unnoticed and got what we needed. There's a banquet 3 days from now near the lab where we need to go get her. All we'll have to do is dress up and act like employees then when it's late at night slip to the lab get her. It should be easy the security will be lowered in the lab because of the banquet. What did you get Mio ?" she looked over at Mio's bulky bag.
" I went to a weaver friend of mine to get us blankets which is a good thing since it would look more suspicious if we were all dirty from sleeping on the ground at the banquet. What do you plan to do about our animal parts ? I mean it would look mighty suspicious." He asked while looking at her.
" Don't worry about it I'm the master of disguise .I've got it all planned out I'll tell you when we get closer to the lab. We can travel by the river for at least a third of the journey so let's get going." She replied smoothly. Hykara started walking along a path on the river Mio and Shaku following her. Mio grabbed Hykara's bag . winked at her and put it in the hand that he was carrying the blankets in. Hykara rolled her eyes " Tell me if you want me to carry your load for a while " she said as she smirked.
They decided to stop when it got dark because it was a new moon that night so it would be hard to see in the dark. Mio pulled out 6 different colored woven blankets. He tossed the black blanket and the yellow blanket to Shaku then he laid out a green blanket and a gray blanket for himself. " Saved the best for last a pink blanket for your wonderful feminine self and a orange blanket to match your foxy side." He said smiling as he handed the two blankets to Hykara. Hykara gave him a dirty look but took them anyway. Shaku sensing a tense moment took out three apples and tossed one to each of them. Hykara with a small smile quickly ate her apple.
" So which way will we head tomorrow ? " Shaku asked.
" There's a trail that goes through the forest that I have used for rescuing other morphions. It's uneven ground but it's a lot better then taking the main trail where we're likely to be seen. So who wants to stay watch tonight? " She replied.
“ I will “ Shaku answered , then went and perched himself atop a flat faced stone that loomed over the area they had made camp. Mio slowly and inconspicuously moved himself till he was 2 feet away from Hykara. As soon as Hykara had taken notice of him she jumped into the tree behind them and settled herself onto a short branch. Mio disappointed that his plan had failed went with his next best plan and climbed to the branch below Hykara's branch. Hykara let her leopard tail dangle limply from her branch. Of course this was perfect for Mio he started petting her tail, when she tried to get her tail back Mio clung onto it ,after a bit of a struggle between Hykara and trying to get her tail back and Mio wanting to hold onto it ,she finally reached her hand down and grabbed her tail but, in the process fell off her branch and onto Mio. Unfortunately the tree wasn't strong enough to hold both of them for more then a couple seconds and then the branch snapped and they both fell to the ground. Hykara being a cat landed on her feet and luckily for Mio his blankets cushioned his fall.
“ If you're going to try something like that you should at least pick out a strong enough branch. Now just go to sleep I don't want to hear you complaining in the morning how you didn't get enough sleep. “ Hykara ordered. She retrieved her blankets which had fallen in the process and went and laid on another rock tower like Shaku was on that only fit one person and fell asleep. Mio choose a tree to sleep against and fell asleep as Shaku scanned the surrounding area as his thoughts drifted to what all had happened today.
The next day Hykara led them through the forest occasionally picking berries, fruits and roots that were along the path and stashing them in her bag. For the last parts of the day they traveled along a border between forest and prairie. “ We're getting close to where we need to be , it's about a half day journey there. Be thinking of what kind of employee outfit would fit in..” she mentioned as she planted her self on a tree to be the watch for the night .As the night crept on Hykara's mind drifted from thought to thought
Chapter 3 : Haru and Ava
As soon as the sun started to creep out into the sky , she woke the other two up. After having a small breakfast of food Hykara had picked yesterday.. Then they headed off and Hykara started leading them deep into the forest . They walked silently occasionally looking to see what noises were. When the sun was almost right above them they came upon a wooden fence that stood 2 feet tall , Hykara jumped right over it and just kept walking , the two males hesitantly went over the fence and ran to catch up with her , wondering where exactly Hykara was leading them. Upon coming in sight of a small almost camouflaged house , Mio said " I thought the point was to avoid seeing anyone "
Hykara replied with " Well we need disguises as we talked about earlier , and the otter morphion who lives here is good with sewing and since we need more fancy sewing then I can usually do , we're going to ask her for help."
" Is she one of the ones you've saved? " Shaku asked
" Yeah her and her husband I saved them about 4 months ago " Hykara replied.
A male with black and orange striped hair opened the door and noticed the three people standing in front of the house , he quickly recognized Hykara and his tiger tail stopped swishing." Hykara ! " he called out to her . Hykara walked over to him with Shaku and Mio trailing behind..
" Hi Haru , how have things been going ? " she asked .
" It's been going good , like you said no one really comes around here and there's lots of different food in this area , so what brings you back here , another rescue mission?" he asked .
" Yep, and for some disguises I need some with good sewing skills like Ava's , so I was hoping she could do it ." Hykara said looking around to see if Ava was in sight .
" She should be back soon , she went to the river to get some fish for our dinner . I'm sure she'd be happy to help. Why don't we go inside for now . it looks like you three could use some drinks ." He said as he went into the house with the three of them following. They sat in the living room as Haru went into the kitchen . He brought out a juice in cups and some bread on a plate ." So Hykara I thought that you preferred to work alone ,what made you change your mind? " Haru asked .
" They really wanted to come with , so I let 'em " Hykara replied.
" More like we gave her no choice " Mio said .
" So why is your other companion wearing a lab coat?" Haru asked as he looked at Shaku.
" Because I recently quit working with the scientists and didn't go back to retrieve my things ." Shaku said as he looked Haru straight in the eye.
" Well I have an extra set of clothes , that haven't been cut with a tail hole ,if you'd like them " Haru said. Shaku nodded and they both got up and Haru led him to his room. A few moments later , they reappeared with Shaku wearing an olive green sleeveless shirt and long black pants.
" That looks better and now you won't smell of lab." commented Hykara.
" Yeah those lab coats are so ugly and geeky" remarked Mio .
" I think we should go check on Ava , I wouldn't think it'd take that long to catch some fish."Hykara said, looking at the sun's position in the sky out the window. Haru nodded thoughtfully, so they headed towards the river . About one half of the way there, they saw Ava running towards them, looking very out out of breath and wide eyed. "What's wrong Ava?" Hykara asked
" While I was fishing in the river ,I heard this sound and I went and hid in the bushes and I saw a boat that had lots of scientists on it and I heard strange noises from the lower half of the boat." Ava exclaimed.
"I guess it's for the banquet , so it shouldn't be anything to worry about , but it's probably a good idea to stick closer to your house for the next couple days ,maybe live off fruit." Hykara said calmly. So they headed back to the house , as Hykara explained to Ava what the three of them needed . Ava agreed to do it and suggested they stay the night at their house since it would take her a while to make the clothes anyway. During the night the five of them heard sounds of people off in the far off distance.
The next morning Shaku and Hykara went out to collect food for Ava and Haru, so that Ava could continue to work on sewing their outfits. Since Shaku couldn't fish, he went to go pick fruit and berries while Hykara went to a bush covered part of the river so she would be hidden from view to anyone coming down the river ,while she was fishing.
Unfortunately , because of the sound of the river being so loud she wasn't able to hear the scientists sneak up behind her until the last moment .She turned her head and avoided the tranquilizer dart at the last moment , then she jumped up into a near by tree where there were a lot of branches. " Hey , leave my pet alone ! " Shaku said as he walked over.
" Your pet , you keep a morphiron as a pet? exclaimed on scientist ,laughing.
" Yes she's useful for fishing and things like that , now leave her alone so she can get back to work ." Shaku said looking at them straight in the eye.
" Alright well if she's yours , you should keep a better eye on her then" said one of the scientists .
" Yeah you should bring her to the party to have her do tricks for entertainment" said the another scientist , they laughed and then departed . As soon as they were out of sight Hykara jumped down from the tree.
" A pet ? " Hykara exclaimed .
"It's the best thing I could come up with at the moment , besides now we basically have an invitation to the party and it won't be strange for them to see you at the party , with luck you can entertain them for a bit and then they'll forget about us and we can go sneak in and save Neka " Shaku answered calmly.
"Entertain them ? If your plan didn't sound plausible , I'd make YOU do the entertaining ." Hykara said in a annoyed tone . Then they headed to Haru's home with what they had gathered . Then when they got home they finalized their plans , and decided that they would make a short appearance in the party Hykara would act as his pet , and while they were making their appearance , Mio would check out the security so they would know what they were dealing with . Mio would hide the tail under his clothes and his ears would be covered by a small cloth type hat.
Chapter 4 : Rescue Neka Underway!
In the early afternoon Ava finished making their costumes for the banquet that was that night .When they were trying on their clothes to make sure they fit and for final adjustments, Mio tried to sneak a glance at Hykara in her dress , but got a pear thrown at him instead. They ate a light snack before they left Then they dressed into their outfits , both Shaku and Mio looked in amazement at Hykara in a blue sleeveless dress, that went to the floor and shimmered in the light ,until her death glare made them look away. With Shaku leading the way and they ended up at the banquet party, just as the party started to become busy. Mio slipped away into the night and Hykara and Shaku entered the large building , and promptly found by the three scientists from the forest.
" Ah so you decided to bring her after all , if she wasn't a filthy morphiron , I 'd say she actually looks good in that dress ." remarked one of the three scientist. Shaku watched in amazement as Hykara kept her quiet and innocent demeanor as the scientists continued to make derogatory comments about her .
Until Shaku finally politely said " Why don't you show them some tricks?" to Hykara .
"Yes Master " she replied quietly. She pulled some colored scarves out of her bag and started to jungle them until she was juggling 6 of them.
" Here why don't you try something harder, morphi ?" cackled on of the scientist as he handed her plates to spin. Hykara successfully spun them for about a minute and half before one crashed on the ground
" I guess your pet there isn't fully trained yet there , huh? " smirked one of the scientists. As that remark , Hykara ran off . Shaku glared at him and then ran after Hykara , who had already exited the other side of the building to where the path led to the lab. When he finally caught up with her she had stuffed the dress she had been wearing into a small tote bag she had brought and was in the outfit she had been wearing before.
" Working alone I never had to pretend to be someone's pet and act like a circus animal" Hykara complained.
" Wow you changed already ? " Shaku said as he looked at her, her hair back into the braid it was had been in earlier and the rest of her tomboy look .
" Well you can't expect me to save someone in that fancy dress" Hykara said tartly. Just then Mio came up and discussed with them the layout of the security. Mio would pose as the security guard , while Hykara would go find Neka, and Shaku would go turn off the security cameras long enough for Hykara to slip in and slip out. The one guard standing in front of the laboratory was easily distracted then captured by the three of them and shoved into a closet that was close to the entrance as Mio slipped into the guards clothes hiding his tail and ears , Hykara and Shaku crept further into the building. They separated after giving a nod , as Hykara headed towards the cells and Shaku towards the security room. Hykara slunk along the walls , keeping out of sight of the cameras until she reached the room that contained the cells that they kept recently tested and soon to be tested morphirons. All the morphirons appeared to be sleeping., so she looked at all of them before picking the lock with one of her hair pins and waking the skinny, tabby morphiron girl. The girl jerked when Hykara touched her and Hykara had to put her hand over the girl's mouth so she wouldn't make noise.
" Are you the one they call Neka? " Hykara whispered into the girl's ear. The girl nodded. " Come with me and be as quiet as you can ." Hykara said quietly. The girl followed Hykara's movements as the two crept out of the room and through the hallways. As Hykara was peering around the next corner, Neka let out a little gasp as a voice said behind
" And where do think you're going kitties?" He seemed to appear out of the shadows and he now had a firm hold on Neka.
" Let her go and I won't have to hurt you " Hykara growled as she glared at him. He pulled out his gun from his holster.
" You made the mistake of thinking you could evade the security here. You should have done your homework morphiron , no one has escaped from here , not when I'm on duty" He said as he pointed the gun at Hykara's head. She ducked and dashed in a zig zagged path at him , as he started to shoot at her. One bullet grazed her cheek as she got closer but only the last bullet made a bullseye hit into her right arm. Seemingly unfazed she twisted his arm enough to make him let go of the gun , then released him so she could smash his face in with her foot , which knocked him back several feet , hitting into the wall. Neka stood there stunned , Hykara grabbed her and pulled her into a run.
" The guys were supposed to handle security" Hykara grumbled under her breath. Behind them they heard the security guard starting to pursue them again. Hykara jerked herself and Neka into a more darkened hallway to try to lose the guard. However it did not slow down the guard. More bullets were shot off at the two girls as the ran ahead. Hykara tried to remember the layout as she lead Neka through a path of twists and turns through out the lab. Until she ran into a dead end. As she turned around she swore under her breath when she saw why the guard was following them so easily, her bullet wound in her arm was leaving a clear blood trail for him to follow. The guard quickly caught up to them and had them cornered. Neka cowered behind Hykara as the guard approached .
Just then they heard a noise above them in the .air duct. Suddenly the bottom of it fell out and hit the guard smack in the face , knocking him to the ground. Shaku's head appeared and he made the gesture with his hand for them to come up. Guessing that Neka couldn't jump the 8 feet up , Hykara held onto her as she made the jump up , she got close enough to be able to grab the side edge of it , while holding onto Neka with her other arm. Shaku helped Neka up , then pulled Hykara up.
" The clock that I looked at was incorrect ,so the guards came sooner then I expected them to come. This is the best way out " Shaku said as he gestured at the air duct path. Shaku lead them in the air duct until they reached the part of the air duct that was wider. " We should bandage that now , otherwise you'll probably pass out soon" Shaku said looking at Hykara 's arm wound. While Hykara would rather return to safe area first , she knew what he said was true , so she gave him the roll of gauze she had in her bag. He pulled out a small pair of tweezers from his pants pocket ,examined the wound and then slowly pulled the bullet out of the wound , then he quickly bandaged it with part of the roll of gauze. Hykara grimaced at the pain but said nothing. Then they continued through the maze of air ducts till they got to a bar covered window at the end of the duct. With the screwdriver he used earlier he unscrewed the the bar cover. " You'll have to leap from here to that tree over there ." He said as he pointed. Shaku jumped , Hykara followed , then Neka made the jumped but didn't make it all the way, so she had to be caught and pulled in by Hykara.
"We'd better go get Mio and get out of here as quick as possible." Hykara said. So the three traveled through the trees that bordered the laboratory. When they got to the area near where the main entrance was they saw that Mio wasn't there.
" Maybe he's in the bushes near the entrance." Shaku said pointing to a small batch of bushes that were growing to the left of the entrance. He quickly crossed the clearing between the trees and the bushes. He looked around the bushes , shook his head and scurried back to their hiding spot. Just as he reached the spot they heard footsteps coming , lots of foot steps . Hykara climbed up into the highest point of the thickest part of the tree , Shaku and Neka followed.
" What should we do with him?" one guard was asking the other ,as they lead Mio with a metal chain and handcuffs..
" Let's just throw him in a cell now, and then check to see if he belongs here later" the other guard said. Shaku jumped down from the tree , unsheathed his sword and ran up to the three of them." What the ...! " the guard said surprised , steeping back a bit. Shaku cut the chain in half , then he and Mio ran back into the forest ,different from where Hykara and Neka were. " Just let him go, he didn't even look all that familiar" the guard said ,watching the two disappear into the forest .
" Should we go check out the tree that he came from in case there's anyone else hiding up there? " the first guard asked. Hykara and Neka tensed up , and try to hide themselves completely from view. The other guard took a couple strides forward in the direction of the tree.
" I don't see anything in the tree, those two were probably just working together, on what , who knows , but as long as nothing obviously happened wrong it doesn't matter." the 2nd guard remarked, as he leaned up against the building behind him.
Chapter 5 : Escape in sight.
Hykara and Neka waited until the two guards were asleep, before they climbed down the tree, and quietly sneaked off further into the forest. Hykara led Neka the way through the forest to Ava and Haru's house , finally reaching there while the sun was starting to come out . As they approached the house, Mio came running out of the house up to them.
" I'm so glad to see you my lady ,Hykara! We were getting worried when you hadn't come home after awhile" Mio exclaimed , grasping her hands together
" We had to wait until they were asleep , since they kept an eye on the tree that Shaku had jumped out of " Hykara explained as she shook her hands loose from his grasp.
" What happened to your beautiful face ? " Mio asked looking at the cut that ran across her cheek.
" Bullet" she replied as she walked over and entered in the house, with Neka following silently. Mio followed them into the house. Hykara sat down inside and Ava began to work on cleaning Hykara's two wounds , while Neka silently stood in the corner. Shaku appeared with a tray with apples and a glasses of water .
" I figured you two would be hungry" he said offering the apple and water first to Hykara and then to Neka ,who gave a small smile after taking the apple.
" My, you're a quiet one aren't you? " said Ava taking her first real look at Neka, after she had tied the last knot on Hykara's bandage. " I know it's been a long night for you two ,so why don't you two go to sleep on our bed? " Ava suggested as Haru appeared in the hallway , wondering what all the noise was about. Hykara and Neka thanked her then headed off to bed . Mio who had been sitting watching Hykara be fixed up , had fallen asleep in the chair he was in .
It was already past noon by the time everyone was awake again. While they were eating a meal Ava invited them to stay with them as long as they wanted. Hykara told her they'd probably only stay a couple days and then they'd head out. So they spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing Shaku looked through the books that Haru had . Hykara went down to the stream to fish, with Mio tagging behind her with a drawing pad he had gotten from Ava . Neka spent the afternoon with Ava learning the basics of sewing. They helped pick the fruits and catch fish for the meals. About two days later Hykara was out picking fruit off a tree that was next to the river and she heard a female voice call out to her. She turned around somewhat startled. As she looked down from the tree she saw a brown tabby cat morphion, who had light brown hair that matched the lighter stripes ,from which her cat ears came out at the sides of the head. She then noticed because she was in the water that she had a mermaid tail that matched her fur color. The only piece of clothing the girl had on was a black tank top. " You're Hykara right?" She said looking up at Hykara .
" Yes I am but why are you asking? " Hykara replied.
" I know that you help rescue other morphirons. They have my sister still locked up ,when we tried to escape , they caught her. Please rescue my sister!" She pleaded. Mio had jumped down from the tree he was in and had walked over.
" Of course we can help save your sister!" he said assuredly.
" Yeah I guess since we didn't have anyone picked out already, but only if you and Shaku are more careful this time." Hykara said glaring at Mio.
" Well we're not as experienced as you, you'll have to teach us more of your ways." Mio said
" So does this mean you'll do it ? " the feline mermaid morphiron asked.
" Yeah sure , come back here tomorrow and be ready to give us as much info as possible." Hykara answered. Then she walked back to the house ,with Mio silently walking next to her. The two of them told the plan when they got back. Ava offered to make them a packed lunch and two more blankets to bring with them. Then Shaku asked Neka what she was planning to do . Neka said she didn't know and that she'd figure it out before they left. Hykara suggested to her that she should stay with Ava and Haru until she was ready to go and find her own place. Neka spent a lot of her time thinking trying to figure out what she should do. Just like other morphirons she couldn't remember who her family or friends were , so that would be an almost impossible search. She didn't want to be a burden on anyone either. So she slept on it in hopes that a dream might help answer it.
Chapter 6: New Day New Mission
The next day in the afternoon Mio,Shaku and Hykara spent packing their things. Neka went to go talk to Hykara " I want to go with you"
" Why do you want to come with? " Hykara asked looking into Neka's eyes.
" I want to help others escape." Neka said
" It's a dangerous task to do ,are you ready for it?" Hykara stated seriously.
" I'll try my best, maybe I can help with things like shelter ,food, clothing and taking care of injuries." she suggested.
" Sure I guess it would be good to have someone doing those needs." she said giving in ,since she knew it was probably inevitable anyway just like the other two. As Hykara had guessed Mio and Shaku were really happy to have her join their little pack. As they left the house after thanking Ava and Haru, Hykara stated " We're not going to have every person we save , join this little group. Until now people have been fine just going and doing something with their freedom. So no more people , got it? "
" Four is a good number " agreed Shaku.
" What about the saying the more the merrier?" Mio jokingly asked.
" Well that's not true in the laboratories now is it? " she sarcastically
" Touche " replied Mio. They arrived at the spot in the river where they had seen the girl,and a few minutes later she appeared. She introduced herself as Sana to the group. As they walked along the river following her Hykara was asking her questions about the lab that Sana's sister , Serena was being held captive in. As the sun set they made camp near a pond, so Sana could sleep part on land easily. Some time later they were awoken by the loud sound of a truck . It was a large green truck with canvas over the top. The back had been left open . It was full of tanks of different aquatic animal morphirons in small tanks.
" I see my sister!" exclaimed Sana exclaimed as the truck barreled down the road.
" Are you sure ? " asked Hykara .
" Yes!" as Sana nodded her head. Quickly gathering their things they raced after the truck staying off the path that had been made that the truck had been on. As the truck made a turn , it began to go further away from the river . Hykara instructed for Neka and Sana to stay there while her, Shaku and Mio continued to follow it. As the truck neared a large river , The three of them got near the front of the truck. Shaku skillfully threw a stone at the driver which knocked the driver out cold, then Hykara jumped into the truck to bring it to a halt. The three of them began to unload the tanks that were in the truck, moving them to next to the river then unlatching the lid to let each morphion out into the river. They had gotten 9 morphions out and were working on the next ones when another truck pulled up behind them. Three men with guns came out and started to surround them. Hykara jumped into the river behind her and started to swim away, Shaku and Mio quickly followed. The men took several shots at the three of them , only one made a successful hit, right into the back of Mio's lower leg. They swam about forty feet till the river curved to the left. The three of them went onto the shore, to see if the men were still following them , which they weren't . Then men piled the tanks of the morphions whom they hadn't finished getting out of the tanks as well as the empty tanks, then they drove both trucks away.
"We've got to follow those trucks." Hykara said as she watched the trucks pull away." Mio , you head back to where Sana and Neka are . Me and Shaku will catch up with the trucks and find out where they're going." Hykara ordered. Mio was about to argue , but decided against it. He shook his head and headed off to where they had been.
Chapter 7 : Entrance into the Lab
Hykara and Shaku ran near the edge of the forest against the path till they caught up to the truck. After a couple miles it came to it's destination , it was a large chrome building the was box shaped, the place had guards and cameras everywhere.
"What's the plan , Hykara?" Shaku asked.
"We should wait it out and see what time the guards switch, then go with that time, or see how the night time guards are." she replied,
" What if there's no weak point in their schedule?"
" Then we'll come up with diversion tactics" she replied.
However when the guards changed at the shifts the other guards came to them and then the other guards left. These night guards kept a supply of coffee with them to keep themselves awake." Let's go see how the other side looks then we'll come up with a plan" she said finally standing up. The two of them walked over to the other side spotting a river that ran under the building, that they had not seen before.
" That must be how they get their water to those aquatic morphions. Maybe we can get in by swimming in there ." Shaku said , looking into the deep river.
"That's what I was thinking too, let's hope it is as easy as that because if it's not it could turn out really bad" Hykara said. Shaku nodded, and they both dived into the river and headed towards the building. The lighting darkened as they passed under the wall into the building. The water pushed them into the opening of a large pipe where all the water was being put into , so they had no choice but to be pushed along until the pipe opened up into a dark area with the water flowing between to stone sides. After not seeing anyone , Hykara grabbed one of the stone sides and pulled herself up, Shaku then pulled himself up. There was nothing in the dark area except for a winding stair case on the other side, and one this side of the water was a metal door in the corner, opposite direction of where they had come. They quietly moved closer to the door , Hykara put her ear near the crack between the door and the wall , to see if she could hear anything on the other side.
Suddenly they heard the door at the top of the staircase begin to open , the two of them opened the metal door and dashed in , and closing it as quietly as they could. They were in a dark hallway with another door at the far end. When they didn't hear anything , they opened the door. The room was filled with huge cylinder water tanks that were 20 feet tall, there were smaller tanks on wheels near the water tanks. A crane was near each tank , with a claw at the end which looked like it was what they used to move the aquatic morphions that were swimming in the tanks. All the morphions began to crowd around the tanks' edges , the newer ones murmuring to one another who had seen Hykara and Shaku earlier .
"We're looking for Serena" Hykara said looking at the different tanks.
" Why can't you just save us all instead of just one person?" asked one of the ones who had been in the truck.
" Is there some way we could do that?" Shaku asked Hykara.
" The problem is that we don't know if the room we started in is empty yet if it is I suppose we could try to create a water passage for them but it'd be quick and bad for anyone who isn't able to stay in the water and it would definitely create a loud noise which would be investigated right away. It's a high risk kind of thing to do which is why I prefer single saves."
" What are you thinking exactly?" He questioned.
" It might be possible if all the aquatic morphions of each tank push their full weight against the door facing edge of the tank they might be able to tip it , they'd need to get close to the top when it starts to tip so they go with the front of the wave and we'd have the two doors open so they'd go into the stream and then would have to swim upstream through the pipe we came and all the morphions would have to do it at the same time or close to it." she whispered to him.
" That seems logical." he nodded.
" I want to know where Serena is first though" Hykara stated louder. A morphiron whose mermaid like tail that matched Sana's and whose torso and the rest of her body was gray and fuzzy and she had gray mouse ears on the top of her head raised her hand. " Okay , Now there has to be a majority of you that want to do it for us to do the plan because it might mean horrible fate for some of you , if we're lucky then all of you would make it out ,but there is that big risk". Everyone quickly agreed so she explained what they had to do . They opened up the two doors up and then started the count down for them to tip the glass tanks. First only two of the tanks successfully was tipped the rest then came down with the help of the water from the other tanks. Shaku and Hykara had stood in the opposite direction of where the tanks were tipping so they could make sure Serena go out. Everyone was able to make it to the indoor portion of the river and started to swim out , except for a young gray fur covered girl who appeared to be a mix between a dolphin , with a tail , fin on the back and the rest more wolf like features except for the face which was simply covered with light gray fur., who had been struck by several pieces of the broken glass. Hykara and Shaku did one more quick look over before Hykara went and picked up and carried her on her back and they headed out the two doors. A dozen or so guards and scientists had rushed down to see what the loud noise was. Luckily all the aquatic morphions had quickly gotten away before they came down. The pipe was quickly shut , blocking the exit for the three of them.
Chapter 8: Caught in the act
"So you're the ones who are causing the commotion " said by a gray haired man wearing a lab coat who appeared to be the one in charge . " Ah it's you Shaku , it's you I thought you had decided to quit the business but it looks like you just decided to do some undercover work and retrieve Hykara for Varu , I'm guessing ." Quickly and promptly dragged Hykara and the girl off and they disappeared before Shaku had a chance to say anything . " You don't object to us securing her more do you ? " The man asked.
" What was the point of having so many aquatic morphions? Are they really that different ? " Shaku asked , keeping nonchalant.
Hykara kept a tight hold on the young girl until they shoved into a cell the door was locked and the guards left them in the dark small room by themselves. She laid the girl down , pulled out a pair of tweezers and started to pick the shards of glass out of the girl's wounds and then wrapping them with the last of the bandages she had on her. The girl slowly regain conscious . " What happened , where are we ? " whispered the girl.
" You got hit by the broken glass , a lot . We're upstairs in the same building as before ." Hykara replied.
" Was everyone else able to get escape?' she asked slowly sitting up.
" Yes all the other aquatic morphions were able to escape." Hykara said. Suddenly the door burst open , there standing in the door was Mio . " How did you get in here? " Hykara asked shocked.
" It's a long story , just trust me ,okay? " he whispered as he unlocked the cell door .He led them through several dark hallways , until they reached another dark cell room. The cell door had been left open, Mio went in looked at the wall then leaned over and pushed one of the stones in , until it had gone all the way through . He crawled in and gestured them to follow. There a a small space between the wall and a square hole in it on the other side of the tight space where they could sit . Bedsheets had been turned into a rope and had been placed going down the seemingly endless square hole. Mio started to climb down the rope , so Hykara and the girl followed him. After about 10 minutes of climbing down the rope , they finally reached the bottom. The bottom was very small space just like the rest of the whole. There was a flap door on one of the sides . Mio squeezed himself through it then helped Hykara and the girl through it. Occasionally looking and listening for guards he led them to a dead end corridor with a large painting of a famous scientist on it.
" Now what do we do ? " Hykara asked , trying to figure out what Mio was planning .
" This is the easy part ! " Mio smiled as he pulled up the painting on one side till the rest swung open revealing a window . It was ground level and on the left side of the laboratory so they were able to get out of it and sneak back into the forest .When they were a far enough into the forest not able to be spotted Mio turned and asked Hykara where Shaku was.
" I don't know , he was talking to the other scientists when they dragged me and her away ." she stated. " Oh I never asked , what's your name? " she asked the girl.
' I'm usually called Lupette" she softly replied.
" I"m Hykara , and this is Mio" Hykara said. " Since we're out of danger now , do you need to be in water , Lupette?"
" Um no I don't think so because I breathe air , although I've never stayed out of water this long either" she replied .
" One of us should probably carry you , since you look really worn out ." Mio said seeing all the bandages .
" I suppose it'll have to be me since you shouldn't even be walking since your leg is still injured " Hykara sighed.
" Should I go back and try to find Shaku? " Mio asked .
" No either way he'll either get out or he was never really trapped to begin with" Hykara coldly stated . Mio didn't know what had happened in the lab so he knew it wouldn't make sense to argue , so he shrugged and they headed back to where Sana and Neka were staying with Hykara carrying Lupette on her back. It was quiet on the way back , occasionally Hykara and Mio would steal glances at one another but never made a sound. When they arrived at the spot Sana and Serena thanked them for their help and then happily swam off together . Hykara set Lupette where Sana had been sitting so she'd have the water if she needed it.
" Miss Hykara why did you decide to save me , even though Serena was the only one you were suppose to save? " Lupette asked.
" Well Serena got out fine enough and you were the only one who needed help" Hykara said simply.. She stood up " I"ll be back later." she said as she headed off into the forest.
" Please be careful Hykara" Mio called out to her, concerned.
" What happened to Shaku? " Neka asked after Hykara had disappeared .
" I was wondering that as well , could you inform us on what happened, Lupette? " Mio asked looking over at her.
" um ,well I"m not quite sure . I mean they came in together and it seemed like the guy in the green shirt wanted to help us too. Then Miss Hykara came up with plan and all and the other morphions were able to escape but me . Miss Hykara was the one to come help but he was still there too ,but when we got out of the big room , and we were surrounded by the scientists , he joined with them.": Lupette said.
"What do you mean joined with them?" Neka asked quietly.
" Well he didn't seem to protest when me and Miss Hykara were getting dragged away by the guards and he seemed fine just talking to the scientists ." Lupette responded.
" Do you think he really went back to their side? " Neka asked Mio.
" I don't know ,Neka but I defiantly don't approve of him doing nothing to help Hykara when she was captured." Mio stated.
Chapter 9: The Forest Full of Trouble
After several hours had passed , Hykara still had not returned to camp. The three of them ate from the supply without much talk Neka wondered what would happen if she went to that lab what would happen and if she could convince Shaku to come back to their side. She didn't know where the lab was though and she had a feeling that Mio didn't have any intentions of trying to get Shaku to come back or at least not at this time. Mio wished he had gone with Hykara , especially since those scientists were most likely out searching for her.
"So what are you planning to do now that you're free , Lupette?" Neka asked.
" Well I guess I was kind of hoping Hykara might be able to tell me where marine morphions live , since I really don't have anyone else .and because I got hurt I missed the trip all of the other morphions who were in the same lab made , so I don't know where they went" Lupette replied hopefully.
" Well at least for now we should rest so the wounds have time to heal." Neka replied .
" I think I should go and try to find Hykara " Mio said as he stood up " You guys remember to stay quiet and be ready to hide just in case people come by ."
" Won't it be hard to have everyone meet up again , if you and Hykara are off in the forest and if we may have to hide? " Neka said nervously.
" Well hopefully it won't take a long time to find her." Mio said." Don't worry I"ll make to come back to this spot , after I've found her." he waved and walked off in the direction Hykara had gone. Since he had no idea where she had been heading he just headed straight into the forest. The trees covered the little light that was left in the sky, the trees tall and straight with thick leafy tops . and bushes also covering much of the ground. His gray wolf ears perked up hoping to pick up any sounds of Hykara. He had to sit and stop every once in awhile to give his injured leg a break. He kept traveling further into the forest searching for her . The nocturnal animals had woken up and were become active , Owls and bats hunting and screeching .noises. Raccoons scampered up and down trees. He howled hoping that maybe the wild wolves could help him. Only one wolf howled back and only with the warning to be wary. So what he thought had been true the scientists were trying to track down Hykara. His wolf ears were able to pick up the nosies of the footstep easily so he'd hide in a place where he could see them but he was hidden.
Each time a scientist passed he got more and more anxious to find Hykara.
"Mio! " the whispered call came from a tree thick with leaves that he had been leaning against . He saw the leopard tail flicker out of the leaves for a moment.
"Hykara!" He exclaimed , as he began to climb up the tree. Hykara was waiting for him on one of the lower branches that was surrounded by the leaves.
"What are you doing here?" Hykara asked glaring at him .
"Trying to find you of course , this forest is crawling with scientists." Mio replied.
" I would have been fine making it back on my own " Hykara said .
"We should get back to the others and as far away as possible" Mio said looking in the direction he had come.
"Obviously" She replied as she perked her ears and looked around before jumping to the ground , then Mio following after her .
Chapter 10 : Showdown in the Forest!
The two of them started to jog in the right direction . Until Hykara noticed Mio starting to slow in speed because of his leg , so the two of them stopped in a small clearing surrounded by bushes and trees.
"So from what I hear you two decided to go against my advice." Kitarun appearing in the border around the clearing.
"As if a warning from the enemy was going to stop me" Hykara stated., glaring at him.
" Well this time we're bringing you back to where you belong." Kitarun said sneering as a group of scientists surrounded them. " Wolf why don't you step aside , we're only interested in her. " looking at Mio , who at moved forward between Hykara and Kitarun, glaring at him.
" I won' t stand still and just let you take her " Mio growled.
Kitarun sighed " You're going to be a problem aren't you ? Fine, I'll get rid of you first ." Kitarun advanced into the clearing ,sword drawn. Mio went at him with his fist clenched and raised. Mio's punch hit Kitarun in the face as Kitarun's sword cut deeply into Mio's arm. Kitarun stumbled back as Mio dropped to one knee holding his injured arm. As Kitarun regained his composure " So that's all you've got wolf? " He grinned as he stepped over , towering over Mio. As Kitarun raised his sword , Mio leaped up and grabbed the wrist on the side Kitarun was holding the sword. The two began to tug and pull at it so they could get control of it. While that was going on Hykara was fending off the scientists who had begun to swarm around her in an attempt to capture her. When the net was thrown at her She grabbed it before it fell over her and threw it at the scientists , capturing a few under it. Mio got control of the sword just as Hykara finished knocking out the rest of the scientists.
" You may have won this fight , but I"ll be back , and we will get her ." Kitarun said as he made his retreat into the darkness.
" Are you okay Hykara?" Mio asked, panting a little , as he looked over at her.
" I'm fine . We should get out of here , do you need me to carry you? " Hykara asked looking at his shoulder which he was clutching , and his injured leg which was shaking ever so slightly. Also noting that he hadn't added a cutesy adjective or title to her name.
" I'll be fine , let's get back to camp" He said . So slowly but surely they made their way about a half mile in the direction of the river. Until Hykara stopped in front of a tall thick branched tree that was covered in leaves. " Why are we stopping ?" He asked although he was happy for the break since he had felt dizzy since the fight.
" This seems like a decent spot to bandage your arm , as long as we can get up high enough , people probably won't notice us up there. " Hykara said surveying the area. " Do you think you can make it up far enough? she asked.
" I can try " he said looking up the tree. The branches didn't start till about 15 feet up so the two of them inched their way up the trunk. When they reached the branches , Hykara helped pull him up to each branch until they had reached the middle of the branches , where Hykara sat so that Mio could lean against the trunk of the tree.
" Now take your hand off the cut " She instructed . As he took his hand off the wound , Hykara took a closer look at it. " That looks deep , I should probably put some stitches in so it will stop the bleeding she said , as she began to dig through her bag to locate the supplies she would need.
" Wait, you're going to sew me up like a rag doll?" He exclaimed.
" If that's how you want to look at it , sure . It 's clear thread so it won't really look like rag doll though." She said as she pulled out the small round stone jar from her bag. She poured water from it onto a small scrap of cloth she had and cleaned his injured arm. With her clean hand she handed him a pear.
" What's this for? " He asked.
" To bite into , it's going to hurt " She replied seriously. He nervously took it and put it into his mouth. She picked up the threaded needle and moved closer to him. " If you can try to relax it will hurt then then because you won't be tense." She said as she took one last look at his face before she started .
" She wasn't kidding , it did hurt a lot . " He thought as he kept his eyes on her face as she worked , with the stray hairs in front hanging down hiding part of her face while the rest of her hair stayed tucked in the braid , her purple eyes deep in concentration.
"Done!" she said leaning back to grab the bandage strip she had cut. She quickly the bandage around several times before tying the two ends together. " Now be careful with that arm, it's pretty fragile thread just meant to keep to give the wound enough time to heal enough so you don't need the stitches. " She warned.
"So what will we do now? " He asked.
"We'll go get Neka and Lupette and then take the long way around to get to the secret hospital that's run by morphions that way you and Lupette's wounds can heal and Neka would probably like helping out there." Hykara said as she packed up her bag.
" Why does it sound like you're not going to stay with us?" He asked .
" Because I won't be ." Hykara said as she began to jump down , branch by branch.
"But I want to stay with you Lady Hykara " He sadly replied , as he followed her down slowly.
"Well it is a lot more logical for you to get your wounds properly tread and for you to rest so they can heal, neither of which would be accomplished by hanging around me" Hykara stated as she waited for him on the ground. He jumped from the lowest branch and stumbled as he landed , ended up with his arms around her . " I think you can stand on your own fine enough." she said uncomfortably.
"aw okay" he said , straighting himself out. The two of them headed off in the direction of the river. As they walked Mio slyly moved his hand closer to her until he was holding her hand. When she noticed she tried to release her hand from his hold . but he kept it firm . He smiled innocently at her as if to not notice her attempts.
" Let go of my hand " she commanded.
" But why my lovely lady?" he replied sweetly
" I told you not to call me lady" she hissed.
" But that's what you are " he responded. She started to run , which caught Mio off guard enough so she could get her hand free.
Chapter 11: Team of four no more!
They had reached the part of the river where Lupette and Neka were suppose to be , they could tell because the bag with the blankets was still lying on the ground next to a tree but neither seemed to be around.
"Where are they ?" Hykara said looking around. There was a loud splash , and Lupette appeared out of the water.
"Miss Hykara finally you're back! " Lupette exclaimed.
" Where's Neka ?" Hykara asked.
" Scientists took her! We tried to hide in time but they must have found her hiding spot.!" Lupette sadly said.
" Well I guess I'll have to worry about saving her later since I need to show you and Mio where the hospital is" Hykara replied.
" I'll be okay if you want to go save her first , I'm not in that much pain ." Lupette replied.
" No it makes more sense to take you two to the hospital first ." Hykara said simply " We'll take the long route using river so you can stay in water and they'll be less likely to find us . Let's go"
" You don't think there's any chance we can easily catch up with who ever took her? Mio asked.
"Probably not and it wouldn't be wise to attempt any way , this forest is big." Hykara said as she started to walk along the river and the two of them followed.
" Will I be able to meet up with other part water creature there? Lupette asked.
" Marine morphions tend to be more rare , because they require more care , so scientist don't usually want to spend the extra effort, but they do have an area for them in the hospital." Hykara replied.
" I hope there will be at least one other one there ." Lupette remarked.
"I'm sure there will be" Mio said , smiling at her. She nodded and smiled They continued on for a couple hours before Lupette yawned.
" I guess we can stop here for the night , Lupette you can sleep under that large rock and me and Mio will sleep up in that tall tree , okay? Hykara said stopping
" Yeah okay that seems like a pretty covered place " Lupette commented
" Do I get to share a branch with the lovely Hykara?" Mio asked looking at her.
" No of course not , but don't take it as an opportunity to play with my tail again , got it?" Hykara replied.
" Aw, but it's so soft and fuzzy!" Mio said playfully. Hykara just shook her head as she began to make her way up the tree as Lupette went to the rock , and Mio slowly followed after Hykara. Hykara hung her bag and the rest of the supplies from camp on a short sturdy branch above the branch she decided to lay on and then curled up in a blanket. Mio got up to the branch that was a couple feet away from her and settled himself down for the night. He stayed up listening for any suspicious noises , until he finally figured it was probably safe. Early the next morning the three of them woke up , had a small breakfast and headed out.
Out of the blue Hykara asked Mio" Do you even know how to use the sword you took from Kitarun ?"
" Not really but I'm sure it'll come in handy some how !" he replied confidently .
" Just be careful not to cut yourself with it , you have enough injuries as is " Hykara replied.
" Will do!" He said playfully saluting her . She rolled her eyes and they continued on. Stopping only for a quick lunch , they arrived in the late afternoon at a very large old looking mansion .
" Is this it?" Mio asked.
" Yes it is , but we have to go around to the back to get in." Hykara explained. Hykara helped Lupette get on her back so she could carry her in.
" It sure looks deserted " Mio commented as they approached the door.
" It's suppose to look that way" Hykara said as she knocked on the door and then hit it one with her hand flat and then one more knock. A female dressed in a nurse outfit answered the door her nurse cap perched between two brown bunny ears , she made a gesture for them to come in . She motioned for them to sit down and then she walked down the hallway into one of the rooms.
" Wow it's crazy how different the outside of this is compared to the inside, it does look like a real hospital in here." Mio commented , looking around at the white clean walls and the decorative flowers placed around the waiting room.
" Yes it's probably the best one available." Hykara commented.
" Hello welcome to the hospital ! My name is Milia. " said warmly by the women who was the doctor dressed in a knee length skirt with a siberian husky tail sticking out , with a white t shirt on top .
" Hi Milia , my name is Hykara and this is Mio and Lupette" she said gesturing at them ." I was hoping you could check out their injuries and let them recover here ."
" Of course ! " replied Milia " Maybe Mio should be examined first since it looks like he has the more serious injuries , I'll have the nurse bring a tank out for Lupette to be comfortable in . So if you'll come with me Mio" she started to head down the hall.
" Hykara would you stay at least for a couple days , if I have to stay after they check me?" Mio asked looking into her eyes pleadingly .
" Yes Miss Hykara could you stay here at least for a little while? " Lupette asked .
" Well I guess I could stay a day , but after that I'll take my leave " she said grudgingly . Mio and Lupette both smiled , and Mio headed off after Milia . Lupette settled down in the tank they gave her.
