Yesterday towards the evening my back randomly started hurting really bad. I tried moving around, laying down, I had my boyfriend rub it for awhile but nothing helped. It hurt to move. I tried to go to bed but I couldn't sleep it was bothering me so bad. Finally fell asleep and woke up today still the same amount of pain in the same place. I don't have a heating pad, I don't want to take asprin (i'm less than 3 months from my due date and it says not to take it without first consulting a doctor), i've tried sitting and laying different ways with and without pillows, even a warm bath, and nothing's helping. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yikes, I know that feeling. Try stretching out your back (any chance you get really) and massaging your stomach. Yeah, your stomach. Most likely your back pain is from the baby laying on certain nerves. Massaging your stomach might make the little one move, and can help the back pain.
smile Hope this helps.

I don't think I really need to say this, but see your doctor as soon as possible! This could be something very serious. If you call your clinic, I am sure they will let you in as an emergency. It could be anything. It could be a sprained muscle, but it could also be something very wrong (if the pain isn't stopping). Not to worry you or anything, but you really should see your doctor right away - if nothing else, just to be told it isn't something serious.

Okay, no. If the pain doesn't go away, you should go to the ER.
Lower back pain is a sign of LABOR.

It wasn't lower, it was the middle like I needed to crack it or something. It's better now... I'm going to talk to my doctor about it though.

Ah, alright. You didn't specify, and when you're pregnant, always better to be safe than sorry.
And I'm so happy you say you're going to your doctor. smile That should be what everyone does when they have any medical questions.

Well i'm going every 2 weeks now and I was kinda lucky in a way that I had a doctors appointment coming up. The place I go to is rather busy so getting in there otherwise would be a trip. Not to mention I don't have a specific doctor. Since I started going there i've had 3 different ones.
