sometimes it is not chewy and is hard to bite. why? how can i remedy this?

ok some reason i cant remember what they are called..they are mallets with litle points on one side..just beat the lieving hell out of em..ahh tenderizer yeah thats it..i think

xD Awwwwww! I wanted to tell her to beat her meat, but someone already did it! I think those things you soak the meat in to give it flavor is also suppose to help it out a bit too. And it depends on what you like to eat. 3nodding

well if you like beef mushrooms and veggies try tenderizing the meat ( not ground obviously) then cut into strips and soak in a ginger and vinegrete mixture for a few hours..well not that long if youre going quick but the longer is better. slice your mushrooms and vegitables heat up a pan..large wok shape is best but an omlette pan works well too. use a littel sesme oil or vegitable if you dont have that and fry up the meattill brown then thow on the veggies..i know not xactly recipee form

I never tenderize my meat, like the suggested above. If you put about two tablespoons of oil (or a little water) and then put a glass lid over the top it comes out nice and soft. It takes about 30-40 minutes to steam the meat where it isn't pink in the middle. It's very good. (This works if you don't have a tenderizer. I can't afford one, so I have to make do crying )
