You need a welcome thread so you don't have people posting stuff that says that they've just joined and you ignore it because of the topic/lack of topic.

Alright sounds good. But elaborate, how would they "earn" the gold through us?
Perhaps I should tell about what has gone on up to now:
So far what my group has done before the actual Guild was made, was to take in donations of unwanted things and then distribute them anonymously. We’ve used trash that others donated to make hats. Also we have used any funds to buy cheap items to give out to newbies.
I do however encourage donors to help each other. I’ve been on the end where I’ve only given out and never received. That tends to feel disheartening sometimes and thus I want you to lift each other up as well.

How about a Sticky with names of people who are collecting different things so that people can send them directly to the person instead of sending them through you?

Actually I don't have anyone else who is handling the items for me at this time. I want to wait and find people I trust to say: take the trash and make hats. Other than that items tend to just go through me. Unless you choose to find someone to donate it to yourself. Later I'll probably find someone willing to take the flowers and make bouquets to give out. Or someone who I trust to sell the flowers and then give the money back to the guild. But that will have to come with time. As I said I'll have to really trust whoever I designate such activity to.

Just a small idea, and no idk how really to work it except just randomly choose.
I think at one time b4 guild I remember you saying you had actually seen one or two noobs wearing the stuff you had given them. So how about a noob-of-the-month thread where you can choose one of the noobs that we have given stuff to (maybe one for each type item, ie: paper hat, fish hat, ink w/e etc..maybe too complicated to go that far but something to think about) who is ACTUALLY using the item and post their name.
1) Shows that our efforts are appriecated. Kinda of like a silent ty that only we know about...if that makes sense lol
2) Shows that, yes, the stuff is being used for the purpose stated and not sold for the benefit of the person we are giving it to. Not saying anyone here would do such a thing but I am giving on faith that this is not a real elaborate scam to get my junk so it would be kinda nice to see some of the end results....okay, not sure if that came off right but hopefully you know what I mean.

That a nice idea Luchainn, and i was going to make a suggestion of making a thread with only "TWO" post no more.
1 post: saying who we donated to as in crew members can add the names and if a member needs to add a name they can PM one of us to add their names.
2post: can be to say Luchiann's idea
