 It was a perfect time of the day.. where the sun haven't begun to rise above the horizon and the grass are kissed by the morning dew. The temperature of the summer day is perfect.. not too hot, not too cold and all of the creatures is taking advantage of that perfect day to do their thing but they takes their time.
Tobias bounds down the side of the mountain in graceful leaps. It was time for him to go out hunting so he could surprise his sister when she wakes up from her slumber. A smile appears on his face as he remembers watching his sister sleep before he left the cave that they have claimed as their own temporary home. He have a very close-knit bond with his sister and he is very fiercely protective of her, and will die in heartbeat if that means his sister will survive and continue the family line.
A snow leopard male ulaya trots toward the meadow where he knows most of the grazers (deers, and etc) will be. He couldn't help but to hum softly to himself when he was a good distance away from the meadow but he gradually fell silent as he could smell the prey's heartbeats.

 The little kit was hidden under the tall blades of grass that were the perfect hide away for a small kit like herself. White kit's brown splotches made her look dirty, which in a little way helped her blend in with the dirty looking grass. Asami crawled on her belly as she slowly made her way towards a small rabbit that would be perfect for her to pounce on and eat for herself.
The little kit spotted the small rabbit and smiled softly as she continued to crawl on her belly until the rabbit lifted its head. Sitting as still as possible, she waited for the rabbit to lower it's head before she lept after it. After a furious fight, the rabbit layed down and Asami snapped her jaw snap around the rabbits neck.
It was time for breakfast, and Asami pulled the rabbit by its neck to a cover of shade where she learned to accept the taste of the rabbit. She needed to learn to love this taste if she was going to stay with her father.

A sound of bone crunching stopped the snow leopard in the spot and his tail stays really still in the air before his ears swivels around and he picked up the scent of the blood. His ears immediately went pinned against his head as he frowns to himself. Someone was there first before he was..and this male is evidently not happy about that.
Tobias lowers himself more to the ground and he slinks toward the direction of the slightest sound the baby makes and the smell of the blood. He is very grateful for the tall grasses and he was few feet away from the baby and he was very surprised to see a BABY eating a rabbit. He automatically looks around for any lurking parents that might have been lurking nearby to watch over this baby kit.

The sound and smell of another Ulaya made Asami growl softly. She crunched the rabbit a little bit more before she looked around quietly wondering who was there and where this ulaya was. The little kit's ears pinned as she had learned to do whenever she got mad.
Asami grabbed the rabbit and put it in a little bit of a hiding place so that this other ulaya wouldn't steal her catch. The fluff of a tail that she had stopped wagging as she peaked around the tall blades of grass to wherever this ulaya was. "Hello?" She finally asked not sure if that was the right decision, since she didn't know if the ulaya would be friendly or not.

A growl stopped this male when he was inching closer to the baby and he froze once again in midstep while his ears is pricked forward while his eyes is wide so he could watch anything without missing a beat. Another few more steps closer, he could see that it is a baby ulaya and his eyebrow rose up.
When the baby spoke out, his ears pins back but he can't help but to go 'awww' at the voice. When it comes to babies, he is certainly a pushover and a huge teddybear for some reason. Tobias pokes his head out between two patches of long grass and stares at Asami with a blank expression on his face. "Hi.." He finally says.

Asami watched the other ulaya pop his head out between the two blades of grass. Whenever he spoke, her ears pricked straight up and forwards towards him. Her little paws helped her walk back over towards the rabbit she had caught a little bit before the other ulaya showed up.
Asami grabbed the rabbit and pulled it out of the little hiding place she had stuck it only a moment ago. "Who are you?" She asked in her usual small, yet squeaky voice. Soon, she began to munch on the rabbit again. Asami was slowly starting to like the taste of meat.

"I am Toby." Tobias says to the pup, knowing that its not good idea to give any strangers his full name. He watches the baby munch on the rabbit with utter fascination. He usually carries around this notion that the parents feeds the babies and the babies don't hunt for themselves. This baby girl just shot holes in his notion and it makes him little sad that he is wrong about something.
Tobias just merely stared at the pup in utter disbelief, not bothering to hide his emotions at the moment. His bulky tail twitches before it slowly lays down on the ground behind Tobias' body.

"Hi Toby." She said as her fluff of a tail twitched a little then stopped when she noticed him just staring at her. Since he didn't ask for her name, she didn't bother giving it out. After munching on the rabbit a little longer, she sat up and looked at him the same way he was looking at her. "Do you want a bite?" She asked not knowing what he wanted. Maybe he was waiting on her to say her name?
Asami's eyes lit up whenever she saw how odd his tail was. It wasn't like any Ulaya's tail she had ever met it was... long and not just a ball of fluff like her own tail was. She tried to not swing at the snake looking thing he called a tail.

Tobias smiles slightly at the female baby while his icy steel blue eyes flickers with curiosity. He slowly cocks his head to side as the baby offers him a bite out of the rabbit she caught all for herself and he shook his head slightly. "No, that is your meal.. and its not enough for both of us.. you need all of the meat and food to grow up." He gently says. "What is your name, little one?" He murmurs while looking at the child.
Tobias could see that Asami was very fascinated with his bulky long tail and he tries not to twitch because he knows that baby ulayas was born with very sharp teeth. He mentally cringed at the thought of those little teeth sinking into his precious tail and he impulsively moved his tail away from Asami then he decides to dangle it over her head in playful manner. He grins lightly as he watches her reaction, he is ready to pull his tail back really fast if he needed to.

Asami bit into her rabbit again and ripped at it's pink flesh just as her father had taught her to do. "Its yoooooour loooooss." She said trying to let him think a little more as she nudged it a little closer to him so he could smell it a little bit better. "My name? I'm Asami." She said as she took another bite of the bloody rabbit that laid between the two of them. If he didn't take a bite, she wouldn't let this food go to waste.
The little kit's eyes flicked back and fourth as she watched the older ulaya's tail flicking towards and away from her. She knew it would hurt if she dug her claws in his tail, or if she bit it so she just decided to slap at it with her claws still in her paw. Her eyes lit up as she reached up towards his tail quickly as she gently slapped at his tail in a playful way as a low, playful growl slipped from her throat.

Tobias watches the female with utter interested eyes as he could smell the blood of the rabbit filling the air and he glances down at Asami. "I suggest you eat more faster.. the scavengers is going to come over." He says in gentle and warning tone but he knows that Asami and her meal is perfectly safe because he will fight to make sure of that.
Tobias grows more amused as he watches the kit's eyes flicker back and forth as it follows his bulky tail. He could see that the kit is very smart as his eyes sparkles with amusement when she batted at his tail playfully. His tail moves in a graceful arc over the kit's head playfully before it pokes the kit in the nose.

Asami blinked and nodded her head at the older ulaya. He obviously knew a lot about killing, for she knew only how to get the food and eat it. She began to tear at the rabbit much faster now and chew it quicker then before. "What is your family like Toby?" She asked, not wanting to let the conversation die.
Whenever he touched her nose with his tail, she wiggled her nose then lifted up her paw to slap at it playfully. She made sure to only hit with her paw still. Her fluff of a tail wiggled from side to side as she took another bite from her kill.

Tobias smiles slightly at the kit as she devours the rabbit really quickly and he sits down sphinx style in front of the female kit. "My family? well I have a sister and parents that we don't really see anymore. My sister's name is Nicolieus.. she is older than me so.. she is protective of me. She looks almost like me.. little brownish though." He says with a slight affectionate smile as he could see Nicki's smiling face in his head. "Tell me about your family, Asami." He gently says.
The snow leopard grins at the kit as she batted at his tail and he teasingly tickles her nose with his tail before he moves his tail back to the ground so Asami could eat rest of the rabbit without having him teasing her with his tail.

Asami's ears perked towards him as he talked about his small family. They all sounded nice, maybe she would meet his sister one day? The little one tried to picture him as a girl and a little browner than he actually was. She seemed interesting, tough, just like Asami was at times. Her family? Not much really was said about her family. She only remembered her father very well, since she did after all live with him. "Well, I don't really remember my mother and two sisters. I know my mother is really nice. My father is the greatest of all!" Her eyes glittered a little as she thought of her father. "I live with him instead of my mother."
Asami's nose wrinkled a little as he tickled her nose a little with his tail. When he put it on the ground, she quickly took another bite of her rabbit and munched it down. Now that she was full, she pushed the rabbit away from her about an inch.

Tobias sits on his stomach in front of Asami, very impressed with how self-reliable she seemed to be at the young age. The snow leopard smiles lightly at the female before he blinks in almost shocked manner. The mother don't live with the father and raise the children together?! that is very odd for him because he always thought that the parents should stay together to raise the kits to adults then they can leave each other if they want if it was just one time thing for them.
"Tell me more about your father, my dear child." Tobias says gently as he wants to get to know about her father so he could visualize and see her family. He notices that the rabbit was being pushed away so with a powerful swipe, he sent the rabbit flying 30 feet or so away from the place so the scavengers won't find the kit and try to kill it for more meat.
