Curious azure hues scanned the endless expanse of grassy hillsides, a soft tune rising from his lips as the ebon' and cerulean stallion trotted idly across the field. Having no particular destination in mind, he allowed his feet to take him wherever they pleased- after all, he had nowhere to be.
A somber feeling of loneliness invaded his being, and the joyful humming gradually faded into nothing as he sighed, trotting slowing to a trudging walk. Venturing away from home was something that he thought would be fun and exciting, but he was actually starting to miss his brother, sister, and parents. Still, grown stallions didn't go running back to their parents, so he wouldn't either.
Shaking his head with a snort, Nahuel broke into a run, a wide grin on his face as he galloped across the empty grasslands. Adventuring- while more fun when he wasn't alone- could be done without others, and it was what he lived for.

Nixsi lay unseen by others in the clearing; the strands of grass tickling her legs and stomach as she lay there. A swift breeze sent pollen flying through the air in a cascade; the mare sneezed. She snorted lightly to rid herself of the awkward tingling sensation left behind. Yawning slightly; the mare perked her ears upward as she heard a light humming noise. Her sky blue eyes quickly scanned the clearing; attempting to spot a tiny humming bird. Instead she caught sight of a stallion making his way toward the clearing a great distance off. Nixsi frowned slightly when the stallion ceased humming; suddenly though he was galloping across the clearing. The mare's eyes widened slightly in surprise. The stallion however was some fifty feet or so away from her and hadn't even noticed her laying in the grass as he flew past her; his hooves thundering upon the earth. The mare whinnied loudly; hoping to catch the stallion's attention.

One onyx-furred ear twitched in response to the sound of a feminine whinny, and Nahuel immediately put the brakes on- a little to literal of a term, as he tried bracing his front legs against the dirt, skidding to a halt before he toppled over ungracefully.
Snorting as he shook his mane free of dirt, he grumbled to himself about 'stupid unsteady ground', even though he knew full well that there was nothing wrong with the earth beneath his feet- he was just a bit of a klutz.

Nixsi's ears swiveled about and she knew she had gained the stallion's attention as he attempted to halt quickly; a little too quickly apparently. The mare's blue eyes were wide with shock as the stallion tumbled head over heel. Nixsi instantly rose to her feet and cantered toward the stallion; hoping he hadn't hurt himself. The mare arched her neck down and snorted; nudging the stallion gently with her muzzle before lifting her head once again. "Are you alright?" Her voice was lathered in concern for the male. "That was a nasty fall..." She looked around quickly to see if anyone else was nearby. "Are you hurt? Should I get some help?" There was so many more questions Nixsi wanted to ask to insure the stallion's safety; yet she didn't want to confuse him with her hasty questioning either.

Glancing up at his near-victim with a sheepish smile, the stallion shook his head lightly, righting himself onto his knees before letting out an embarassed chuckle. "No no, I'm fine, thank you Miss... just hurt my pride a bit, is all." If you had any pride left to hurt, he glared inwardly at the small voice and silenced it immediately, turning his attention to the concerned mare.
She was quite pretty, he realized with a bright grin, and almost opened his mouth to say so, but shut it after a moment, blinking bright cerulean hues as he recalled that that had not always worked to his advantage in the past. He was not his father, the suave charmer, and he was not interested in flirting with mares for the sole sake of entertaining himself.
Offering a bright grin instead, he hauled himself to his feet, nonchalantly brushing a bit of dirt from his ebony coat with a flick of his tail. "I apologize for almost running into you, I wasn't really looking where I was going. My name is Nahuel."
