Yeah, even with tiny needles, they're nice and fast. Of course, my gauge is ridiculously huge (I get 13 stitches to 4 inches on size 9 with worsted yarn), so I'll go uber-fast. It's a bit annoying, though, because I have to alter sock patterns so they'll fit humans, not Yetis.

kochi~mochi Crocheting, in my opinion, is also easier for making things on-the-fly, patternless. 3nodding I concur. xd Then again, I am a newb knitter. But it just seems more logical to create patterns in crochet, as I feel its easier to take out mistakes or incorrect pieces.
