I'm pretty pissy and need to vent.
I just got home from work a bit ago and saw in my personal email that someone tried to get into my account a total of 9 times and failed, so they blocked me from logging into Gaia (never said for how long, but I see I can get in now). Great you may think, be happy they did that. NO, they still have yet to return ANY of my items and over 200,000 gold from the hacking that happened to so many accounts on here not to long ago (plus the fact that I spent REAL $$$$). What I'm upset about is the fact that they can stop something so tiny but yet CAN NOT fix the issue of some idiot getting into my account, posting horrible things and letting all my stuff go.

I'm sorry Liz. I know that Jess has had that happen several times as well since all of this has happened. I think it's like on neo when they try to get your password and you can't long in for so long.

as for someone that has happen to i am sorry i was very pissed too. when i found out. i will wish you and everyone good luck. and myself as well to getting our stuff back insedenly i did get and email to my self saying that i had sent the email telling gaia that i was hacked in to.

oh Liz that sucks sad Ive gotten that mail twice since I was banned, and it really pisses me off. Its happened overnight and when I check my email first thing there it sits. Its like WTF havent you people done enough damage to Gaia users as it is that you have to try and continue to ruin it for others? *shakes head* Unreal that they cant even respond to you. Maybe contact a mod? I still have the mail on Mango from the one that I contacted when I got banned. If you would like the name, please dont hesitate to ask and I will be happy to pass it on to you heart heart

Her name is terradi. She was really nice and super helpful. Shes a good friend of my friend Poe, who contacted terradi on my behalf when I was banned. Good luck to you heart heart Oh and it says this on her profile, not sure if its helpful or not:

It's truly unfortunate that so many of us understand what you're feeling and going through... Good luck, hun!
Although in different circumstances, I still haven't heard a peep from anyone concerning my account... it's been a full 5 months now

Thank you Mo, I really appreciate your help. I went ahead and sent them a message. I must be honest though, my patience is running thin with this. I log in everyday now to see if I have any messages from any admin or to see my items and gold all back in it's rightful place but to no avail. I'll keep you abreast if I hear anything further. You guys are really nice to me, thank you all again.

It's no problem Liz, Im glad I can try to help, even if its in some small way. I think it stinks that they havent replied to you yet. And I got another one of those account is now blocked mails. Here is what I received back.
"This is extremely above and beyond my ability to fix and there is a long, lonnng list of users currently waiting to get their stuff back after being hacked. There's unfortunately nothing I can do for you"
So, all I do now is wait I suppose.

So, by the way they say it, the long, long list of users waiting to get their stuff back will get their stuff back if they wait long enough? It will just take a long time? They didn't say "due to the scope of this problem, there's nothing anybody can do" or "sorry, we don't return stolen stuff" or anything like that. So, good news, right? I think? *fingers crosseed*

I do have a suggestion for anyone affected - change your username on here! I know it may be annoying, but if you change your name here they won't be able to even attempt to get into your account smile
I'm just SO glad that my Subeta account has a COMPLETELY different username than most other sites!! biggrin

I'm so sorry that a lot of purkles have gotten a bad experience here on Gaia! But after going to the convention yesterday, I found the person to contact with troubles. Her name is Dri. Dri's profile She is in charge of Member Services. The most likely place to find her outside of PMing her would be in the site feedback forum. They really tried pushing that forum at the Gaia panel. I would say contacting her would be like going to the top of the list!
