In our Century conciet, we believe we have the answers - if not to all the questions, at least to the important ones. But many curious enigmas continue to mystify and to challenge us. Have we truly defined time and space? Or are there dimensions that are still beyond our present understanding.
Disturbing Contacts Strange Disappearances The Road to the Fifth Dimension Uninvited Visitors Secrets of the Ancients Creatures from other worlds And other oddities that can be discussed in this topic
Hopefully all of you understand what is being discussed so go chat and shoot for the stars.
Ya'll know what to do
I'm in so much of a mellow mood that I literally have no other remarkable statements to add to this begining post.

Past life Regression
Past life regression is a term coined in the West that describes any type of method used to help us "see" and "understand" our past lives. The point of any type of past life regression is to enable a better understanding of issues in this life because they are directly connected to their past lives. On a very superficial level, we can say that certain phobias, obsessions, ideas and behavioral patterns expressed in this lifetime result from unresolved past life issues that have been carried forward. Many times there is a reason why they are carried forward. Usually we find that carrying forward certain unresolved issues guarantees that they will surface and will eventually be dealt with. Dealing with certain issues in a subsequent lifetime is one way of experiencing spiritual growth.
Akashic Record
The word akashic comes from the ancient Tibetan words aka meaning place, and sa meaning unseen in the sky. When the soul emerges from the source (or the creating life force, or God), it begins its travel through time and space. Along its travels, it incarnates many times, growing spiritually and at the same time, fulfilling its purpose.
The soul emits energy with every thought, action or event that it engages in. This energy does not just disappear, instead, it leaves a permanent energetic blueprint. This blueprint is in the form of a multi dimensional holographic recording of the actual events, thoughts, feelings and actions of life that the soul experienced. This hologram is a continuous cinematic display that continues through time and space. Because every activity of the soul leaves its energy blueprint, the history of the whole universe is recorded in this hologram - including the history of our past lives and present life. This is the akashic record of our life.
Precognition. (pre = before; cognition = knowing). This is probably the most common paranormal experience that people claim to have. It is usually where a person "watches" a scene, sometimes in a dream or a daydream, which then later, usually within hours or days, and sometimes within seconds, seems to match an actual event. When the event involves an airplane crash or other disaster, such stories sometimes get in the news
Clairvoyance (clair=clear; voyance=seeing). This paranormal phenomenon is somewhat similar to Precognition, but rather than seeing a scene earlier in time than it actually happens, it is usually seeing a scene at a location that is distant, and quite possibly at the exact same time. If Clairvoyance occurs alone, the awareness (vision) seems to sometimes be occurring at the exact same moment (corrected for time zones) when some real event is occurring. Clairvoyance seems to also sometimes be combined with Precognition, where a distant, future scene is seen in a dream or daydream.
Telekinesis (tele = distance; kinesis = moving) This is a rather different paranormal phenomenon where a person is apparently able to cause (small) objects to move without actually touching them. The only really well documented example I have heard of involved a very young Russian girl who, with apparently very great exertion, could make small objects move on a table in a laboratory, with various scientists present. Other claimed examples seem to have tended to all involve young girls, and the ability is apparently lost by the later teens. (There have been many people who have known how to fake such displays by trickery, as part of entertainment for audiences.)
Deja Vu. Deja Vu is different from these other phenomena, by definition. A person who experiences Deja Vu does not have any clue whatever that something is GOING to happen (like Precognition), but merely has the sensation (during and afterward) of having already experienced the scene.

More common among telekenesis is the ability to move energy rather than physical objects. The sheer amount of power it takes to move an object is enormous. Energy is far easier.

I tend to experience deja vu quite a lot, and with the simplest and seemingly insignificant things. Like dropping a pencil, typing a word or listening to a conversation. Usually it will be something I vaguely remember from a dream, but sometimes it's unexplainable. It's strange really; I'll get this 'sensation' when I, say, write a word...let's use the example, "word". Obviously I've written the word before, but sometimes there's that one particular time when it feels odd after writing it out.
I get a somewhat similar sensation with my OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I strive on order, I always have. And sometimes, I'l be arranging something, maybe in alphebetical order, but this 'sensation' tells me that it should be in....chronological order or something. Almost as if something's telling me it should me.
I'm not claiming to have some dor of paranormal gift or anything, but the sensations I get for both deja vu and with my OCD are quite similar. I'm not a freak I swear.

One example is I'll be shopping and see somebody I know... so naturally we'll talk. I guess I make a strange face when I'm experiencing deja vu because they'll stop midsentence to ask what's wrong. I'll simply tell them I feel I've had this conversation before, deja vu. That tends to be where the conversation stops.

I think I'd be in a completely different spectrum..... If I'm close enough (relationsthip wise) to a person I can feel things from them..... Like I felt felt a great deal of pain when my friend (who was in another location) accidently cut himself so badly at work that he needed a skin graft. I even seem to pick up on peoples' emotions or what they're thinking.....even if we're talking on AIM and I've never met them in person before. I also practice Reiki, which DOES work wonders..... I've been able to make my fiance's most severe migraines go away in about five minutes. I also heal and get over illnesses (I rarely get sick) much faster then most people. I was shot in the right shoulder four years ago.... I have no idea what type of gun it was....but my there as a LARGE hole in my shoulder. I almost lost my entire arm.....as well as my life. So now I have a ton of metal and God only knows what in there. The doctors thought it would take at least two years to fully recover, I'd never be able to move like I used to.... Well I recovered in a year and was able to fight and win in a martial arts tournament. I'm also able to see ghosts....rather well. As if they were really there....just a bit on the transparent side. I also seem to be able to heal/ be empathic towards plants and animals to an extent.....

Though I have not had many of your experiences, I've been through many of the paranormal experiences you have been through, though. I mena, you said that you see the ghosts very well, when I can only... well, feel them around me. When I'm alone, many times, I hear voices and see blurry figures in my mirror, or even right in front of my face. I know, many people have tried to disprove me by telling me it was my imagination, symptoms of my depression, or even insanity, but I believe so other wise. You also pointed out the sensing of pain in others, physically and emotionally, am I correct? I think that you and that friend must be very close for you to know when something's wrong, and when they get hurt very badly. It's only happened to me once, though, and I still remember it fresh in my head.

Unfortunately my type of kenesis is extremely rare but only good at hurting people and food. Theres a kenesis more rare than kenesis itself. Kenesis is commonly the ability to move objects and energy. On rare occasions this does not exclude being on the molecular level only. In other words radiation. It's rather useless and hard to prove. We can't create it just move it so it seems silly. However I microwave food in half the time if that's good for anything. One psychic that can heal another that can harm. We make a good team do we not? Just kidding. Radiokenesis is as rare as it is useful. In other words it's hardly existant among psychics let alone any real proof. And as I said I can't create it so to do you harm you have to be exposed to it allready. Because of it I get a weird tingling whenever I am close enough to trace amounts of it. Like when someone gets out of kemotherapy. I had that happen the other day. I said how was kemo not thinking and he looked at me and asked how I knew. I decided to not make my presesence knowne and walked away like nothing happened. Also X rays do the same thing to me. I can actually feel it. I am guessing it's my radiokenesis. Could be something else I don't know.

I didn't know anyone else like me and my parents are rather closed minded.... I didn't always healing and empathy that kind of happened later on.... I think it was after my Japanese grandmother's death (when I was nine). It hit me really hard.... What I DID have when I was little was hightened senses.... Its actually kind of painful.... My ear drums vibrate if a noise is too loud or high pitched. My sense of smell can make me rather sick to my stomache at times. My vision is like 20/20 and then some. My sense of touch is shown in my reflexes, which are even better than my martial arts sensei. When I first fought against him I was a white belt and he was a 8th degree black belt. I was faster than him and I could kind of predict his moves. Later on, I was the first in my class to learn how to fight more than six people blindfolded.

LunarVendetta I also practice Reiki, which DOES work wonders..... I've been able to make my fiance's most severe migraines go away in about five minutes. I also heal and get over illnesses (I rarely get sick) much faster then most people. Someone who practises Reiki! Being a conflicted skeptic, I haven't had any permanent attunements myself - I've done some group healing with a heart attunement though. My mum, on the other hand, is a Reiki master with Seichem and the Egyptian Cartouche... so I've done a fair bit of reading in her manuals, and I've been to a few Reiki circle meetings. What kind of reiki do you practise? At an emotional and instinctual level, I wouldn't hesitate to say that I believe the healing does have a significant effect, greater than the panacea affect for such a process would be. What troubles me is the inconsistencies in the healing/spiritual/shaman/New Age canon, and the rather bizarre, comflicting pictures of life after death which various healers and spiritualists have attempted to impart. If people have power animals and guardian angels, and spirit guides, and energies within their auric layers, and a higher self, then it seems to be getting a little crowded around every individual... One thing I'd certainly like to know about is the inner workings of an aura camera, before I accepted aura photography as legitimate. What is disconcerting, is that the owners of aura cameras have always been unwilling to explain. It's interesting that there is such a high frequency of people with supernatural, extra-sensory or non mainstream spiritual convictions - I suppose the principle of induction breaks down when the miraculous is considered, as examples vary too much from case to case to have any impact. Not that causality and induction is particularly watertight anyway... ^^ (For anyone wondering what Reiki is - a system of healing using energy chanelled from the universe through the crown chakra of a Reiki healer, who has been attuned with a simple ceremony involving mdeitation and the placing of sacred symbols. The healing may be conducted through the hands, or it may be sent - absent healing. To believe in Reiki healing is to presuppose belief in angelic spiritual beings superior in power and goodness to ourselves, and some ultimate power, or God figure, creator or ultimate reality in the universe. It presupposes the existence of a network of energy channels in the body, with seven major chakras, or energy points - crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and base. Healing takes place throught the regulation or unblocking of energy in the body, and in the layers of the aura. Reiki may also presuppose belief in reincarnation, spirit guides, and communication with spirits, although this varies from individual to individual... This is by no means an authoritative definition - just something dredged up from my experience, so don't quote me on this one, and if I've got something wrong, I apologize. ^^ This is not a statement of my beliefs (see above), but merely an explanation of a certain perspective.)

I can't really think of any big misteries right now....
Oh wait, I've got one:
have you ever heard that when you flush the toilets north of the Equatorial line the swirls goes one way and when you flush it on the south it goes another, well I live in Ecuador, wich is right in the center of the world, we even have a monument in the place where the equatorial line passes, the thing is, me and some friends when there the othere day and did the experiment with 2 bucketts and a big funnel (apparently a lot of people do that) and it worked, it was pretty weird north it went one way and south it went another.
Does anyone know why that happens? I've been looking for that in the internet so either I suck at searching or there is no explanation.

In order for water to go down a funnel a certain direction, you just have to pour it in the funnel a certain way. A toilet flushed in Australia has the water going down exactly the same as a toilet flushed in Canada. I believe Mythbusters did a thing on that.
