This RP is for Shar and myself. You know the drill*insert Mizu here cause well he's not carded and his smexiness might kill the thread* wink As the night fell upon the ground, the sky painted itself with a rich indigo canvas giving birth to many stars as they twinkled in the deepened sky. The world was a song as it changed hands to the darkness, and things awakened by the shining moonlight in her first wake. Down by the ocean's shoreline a figure pounded the ground like a phantasm of the night. Where water met sand his hooves glimmered with each powerful stride. Mane flowing like the waves crashing upon the shore sang outward in an all out chorus as he galloped furiously with nothing to remind him of time.
This was his land. His ocean from wence he was born. A creature as lucrative as the subtance he towered past. Shining with beauty and intrigue he continued his path into depths unknown.

The sky above him sparkled with a million stars, diamonds in the cloak of night and the silver moon its broche. The wind rushed past him with its framilure caress, a siren song to his heart. Dark wilderness the song that pulled at him each day and bid him to the skies. The dull ache of a old wound sending pains of dischord through its descant.
Silver hooves caressed the clouds, running along its intangable surface and sending trails of mist lingering behind him in fanfare of his passing. The stallion black as night was in his element, ignoring all else when the pain of his wing slowly stabbing into his thoughts.
The shoreline below him, wild surf beating against the sand. It would do for a rest...
Tucking his wings behind his back the shadow dove from the sky. He closed his eyes for but a moment before opening them again and smiling with wild abandon as the word rushed up to meet him. With but a flick of his wings her righted himself above the waters turbulent surface. His silver hooves dancing across the crystaline waves as he panced towards shore and finally touched the sandy earth.

Still the shining stallion passed along the shoreline like a crystaline demon in the night. Nostrils taking and leaving air back to its origin, he worried naught about anything. Towering above the crashing shoreline he paused brathing in the salty air catching a glimpse of something further down the way.
A blackened stallion towering above the waves as himself glistened in the moonlight. The only difference was this stranger carried wings were he himself did not, but the water stallion was blessed with the power and nature of the ocean and all its majesty.
He started walking toward the other holding his head high, tail swaying back and forth as the windy surf carried it to and fro. He wasn't quite fond of others that drew so far to his world but first he'd investigate and take in the other's motive. Snorting he paused and waited still holding that bold composure .

The stallions hooves touched the ground and her pranced there for a moment, strenching out the corded muscles in his legs. He smiled to himself and shook his head to the side senind his mane cascading down this back like a liquid stream of night with highlights of sparkling silver.
Finally he stood still and inhaled deeply the cool salty air around him, as if he was drinking in the sea itself. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the stallion running towards him, his strides spoke of boldness and a sureness. He couild be trouble... Vu didnt want in trouble.
Inwardly he grunted, this is why he didnt come to the sea, it caused him trouble everytime he was here.

Nostrils flaring he paused in this encounter wondering what the other hoped to gain in his territory. Still there was time to avoid a potential bickering or all out show of stamina or strength. He didn't desire another's blood unless they offered it willingly as most do.
He began to boldly walk closer to the other holding his head higher with each step. Bending his fine neck and head he arched his stance with each step he placed outward into the shallow sands sinking beneath his broad hooves. A toss of his silvery blue mane created a god-like appearence within this wild soul. As the winds swept past him he found his gaze about 10 meters from the other, eyeing differences, and deciding solultions should they arise.
He felt not a need for introductions so he simply stood there drinking into himself the other. As the waves crashed around him he was in control, whereas wonderment made him ponder what control the other was keeping and drawing from. Flicking his tail back and forth he waited for the other's first movement. It was as if the canopy of night had rained a setting for the two.
Where the water should meet the air.

Vu snorted softly, what a pompous fool this one was. So arrogent and better than everything around him. It was because of fools like him that he kept to the skies. Yet even in the skies you could find others who where unwelcome, like that goat crossed guy he'd met before... what an a** that one had been. Maybe he was crossed with a jack-a** as well, that would explain things.
Vudeux pondered his chance meeting with Artimis as the stallion walked closer and finally looked over him with an aprasing glance. Vu shruged his shoulders and flexed his wings, where his wing not hurting he'd had taken strait to the sky again to be gone with this trouble maker.
He wasnt there to be stared down, Vu matched his gaze with his pale purple eyes and then slowly began to walk forward. Passing the stallion on the right hand side he turned his gaze towards the sands before him, with every intention of just walking away.

Mizu's heart flared at the sight of another stallion such as himself, but curious as well for no other had chanced this path in what seemed many turnings of the sun and the lunar mother during the night. It seemed this winged stallion wasn't lookin g for confrontation, yet he held himself in a bold way. Troubling this was to the ocean strider for he'd never glanced upon a windwalker before.
He tossed his head pausing a moment before he spoke in a deep moving voice toward the other, "Greetings Windwalker. I welcome you to my land of sea and sand. What do the winds bring upon fleeting times that carry you here"
Now he would wait and see if the other had any intention of taking a greeting or simply dismissing the welcome of another. He wasn't fond of stallions, not in the least, but he wasn't a vicious monster either.

Bold and poetic? Such an interesting mix. He'd almost expected something along the lines of "durr... Get offa my sands!" But that wasnt what had happened.
Vu craned his neck to turn and look at the stallion and raised an eyebrow slightly. Perhaps he was full of the unexpected, but did he want to stay and find out. No... Not really.
He flexed his wings softly and sighed, the chain around his neck swaying heavily. Turning his ebony body around to fully face the stallion he tilted his head a bit. He had no where to go and nothing to do.. He guessed he might as well try to have a converstation.
"Hard to tell what the winds bring, I just stopped down for a rest. Dont like the sand much." he mummbled the last under his beath chancing a glance at his hooves. No, not much. Not much since the night he had broken his wing during a sand race in the night.

The water influenced stallion stood quite still yet his form rippled like the passing tides that swayed to and fro from the ocean to the shoreline. His eyes were quite lucrative as they nearly swallowed into this other stallion, clear and distinct as water truly was.
"I've never understood the winds for they blather many a strange thing, yet speak in so many tones its almost unfathomable." he noted with a toss of his great oceaninic head, "As for the sands I just regard them as "being" there. Can be quite a nuisance away from the water." he spoke stretching his nexck to let the wind from the surf tustle is long fluid mane.
"If you venture closer to the water's edge the sand holds more of a stable footing. Its the dry that becomes an annoyance."
Strange as it was a converstation had been started which was something Mizu wasn't seeing or even known to happen. As long as the other didn't trespass into Mizu's own thoughts he would be neutral and fine.
"What is your name windwalker so I may call you with a title rather than an idea."

Vudeux folded his wings softly against his back, almost tenderly as the dull sting of that old wound ached in his bones. "The sands I shall always Lothe, whether wet or dry. "
His expression was cold as he remembered that faithful night, it seemed so long ago. Before he had been forced into father hood, when he was truely free...life was different then. Breaking his wing on the shoreline had been a downward spiral of pain and misery and life changing experiances.. ones that he would never forget and ones that he would curse one particular mare with for the remainder of his life, after all he needed someone to blame....
"My name is Vudeux. " He said at length, watching the form of the other stallion as he almost seemed to move the fluid grace of the sea itself. Sea and sky eh?

A title was sufficient, and in its own right this great king of the skies should carry one so bold. Any king that governed his land was always worthy of something others would always associate them with. This, Mizu belived firmly and for once didn't feel confrontation from this great lord, not just yet. It was custom for others to come and go, and this stallion Vudeux was no different. The seaside some days were a lonely sort of realm but yet the ocean was so vast it could stretch on for months if you followed the current as it flowed into its birthplace then back again. It made some wonder just where all the water came from that constantlt flowed and mingled with the great mother sea.
"I suppose you would be correct as you are wind and I myself am sea." he nodded swaying back and forth with each passing gust of wind as the waves crashed melodicallyaround him. Mane and tail whipping back and forth shining like the great ebbs in the tide fading downward into the recesses of the great deep blue.
Liquid eyes of the sea gazed outward at the other shaking his head a little before he spoke once more, "Then great lord of the wind I shall do the same, I am known as Mizu, great lord of the sea."
He stood quite proudly at his own introduction feeling quite honored that for once lonliness and solitude wasn't his only calling. His heart burned with the crashing waves and the depth of the ocean. He wondered now if this winged lord truly felt the same of the wind that carried him swiftly to destinations unknown.

Vudeux nodded softly as the strange stallion gave his name finally, such formal grace he had. Yet he saw little need for anything formal, nor any sort of grace. Meeting a passing stallion held little interest for him, and social graces where never his fortae.
He watched the stallion a little as the dull ache of his wing slid from his mind like a dropplet of water on a pane of glass. "Nice to meet you." he said after awhile, truely lost as to what else to say and knowing that really to be the only fitting phraze.

((My god Mizu is re-writing himself... eek Damn you writing creativity))
As the wind blew past them Mizu had lifted his head to the sky momentarily closing his deepset eyes into soft blackness. A rythem, melody played only in his ears as his mistress - the lady of his being and lifeforce breathed softly.
How he adored the sea, her shining grace and fantastic mirth she carried in all whom listened to her voice. Carrying from shoreline to horizon she was queen of the body that swayed and crashed upon the element known as earth.
"Tell me" he murmered yet held that deep swaying tone within his voice, "Does the wind guide you as the mother guides myself? A drive so unmistakable you know it strictly by heart and soul?"
Reopening his eyes his body glimmered in the direct sunlight as if waves were rushing and settling on his finely created coat. The other seemed miffed about the water bearer yet Mizu didn't mind really. He was his own ocean in his mind. He cared not what others thought unless they truly belived in the great mother that preformed her dance to the left of him.

Vudeux slowly watched the stranger, he had been waiting for a chance to leave without appearing too terrably rude. Easily annoyed with others he found his irrittations slowly ebbing. He saw a part of himself in this...sea horse for lack of a better term to call him by.
He seemed to love the sea with all his soul, a siren song that called to his heart and forever chained him to its will, and yet he cared not for its freedom and churning depths offered to him the safty of its love and solitide. The sea did not judge him as those on the land might, it offered unconditional love and safty within its icy depths.
So too was it for him with the wind, the mistress whom truely owned his soul and kept him safe from harm. In her arms he was free, he was king. He could view the entire land and watch it from above he could walk on the clouds and bask in the warm rays of the sun or the cool caress of the moon like no other.
"It is so, Brother of the sea. The lady of the sky holds me tightly in her grasp, but I would have it no other way. "

"Ah" the stallion ebbed in swaying strides of passion nodded with appreciation, "Then you understand the depths my soul lies within, a simple yet complex shifting of emotion and feelings."
He closed his eyes as the wind rustled his hair whipping it back and forth then gently draping for an instant upon his rippling shoulders. Then it flew upward once more trailing around him catching the essence of light upon the silken strands.
Reopening them he pondered the other's thoughts, so fleeting they seemed as the wind herself. Only a few others he had met in his lifetime, each carrying their own thoughts and ideals. Only one stood out as himself, and yet she was as fleeting as a wave caught in eternity. He sensed Vu's eagerness to part ways for one such as this great lord wasn't too fascinated to be caught in one place for a long time. It seemed to the water stallion the ones with wings were like that, as if their wings were their own lady's calling. To lift oneself high into that radiant blue sea that spread outward high above the water's realm.
Pity though that conversation could simply dissipate due to the feeling of wanting freedom. He himself had felt this passion, this everlasting power of obeying no one. A great lord never had many friends, living in solitude through their treasured existence. Strange though listening to the crying gulls in a distance he pondered asking this stallion, this great lord to humor his guises and provide a little company. But how does one keep a bird from flying, or a fish from swimming in those inviting depths he wondered.
"Strange it is that I've felt more of an ebb and flow since your arrival. I thank you for bringing a bit of life toward my mother's land. Tell me though Vu, what is the world like beyond my kingdom? What lies outward in the shining horizon that sits in silence past the crying of the gulls and my lady's swaying harmony?" he queried standing rather bold yet his form appeared relaxed and subdued.
