...or would be if I didn't defeat him on ground some times... my custom char has an triangle attack that makes him attack and boost forward at the same time, so I run away from him, use musou when able to, cure, use triangle on enemies and sometimes on him... sometimes it works!
The problem is: it doesn't work on duels...

i suck at duels, so i dont do them. and have you ever done gan nings musou when near death? THAT is a lifesaver lmao

Hehe you can bet on musous! It's much easier to get cure from the dead soldiers when using it than from a box around (probably because you have to find and break it first...)!
